Television Glee.

I just watched it, recorded from yesterday.
I literally screamed "Holy balls!" at my television.
I love that show, honestly.

 

I liked the first thirteen episodes the best, but this week's episode wasn't as bad as the rest of this season. I was so happy that Puck came back WITH HIS JEWHAWK!

 

The first season was so much better, but I still have a soft spot in my heart for Glee. This week's episode was kinda wild, though, I must admit. It was adorable for the most part, and I remember I actually gasped at a part. It was all kewl.

 

i agree that the first season was much better. despite a few pointless episodes (like the Britney Speares one), this season isn't too bad yet.

also i really like Brittany, she's my favorite character, she has some of the funniest lines.

 

I am pretty sure there was already a topic about it... Anyway, i haven't watched it yet, as much as i would like to but i will try do that asap. Especially now that Darren Criss appears in it.

 

Personally I first began watching it because it was really hyped. I enjoyed the first season, haven't seen too many episodes from this season yet but I really do enjoy watching it. Sue (Jane Lynch) is hilarious.

 

Huge Gleek here. I adored the first season, have several CDs including the one they did for Rocky Horror, and just get a kick out of it. Sue is hilarious, and I adore Kurt to death. Last night's episode was good, but I found myself "WTF"-ing a few times.

 

i love glee to death. Rachel, in my opinon, is the best female character who doesn't have comedic lines. the character i like for the comedic lines is Becky. my favorite guys are Kurt and Sam.

Rachel makes me want to punch babies. I think she's the worst female character on the show. She has the voice of an angel, but I want to throw my shoes at my television screen every time she comes on.

My favorite female characters are Quinn and Tina.

My favorite male characters are Puck and Artie :)

I really hate Finn. He's so stupid and his voice is not very good. I mean, considering he's the lead male vocal. Chris Colfer and Mark Salling have much better voices. I'm actually a little glad that Finn hasn't been singing as much in this season.

 

So I live in the Netherland and two weeks ago was the first streaming evening. I missed it and I don't follow it, but it alraedy has a huge amount of teenage fans. When it starts over, I will give it a try...

 

I've only seen the first eight episodes so far, but I've loved it so far. The cast is great, the singing is awesome, and that's all I need.

Liking the characters is weird though, since even the 'mean' ones have redeeming moments, and the 'nice' ones can be real as*holes at times. But I've really liked Kurt, Brittany, Finn (shaky singing or not), Tina, Emma and Quinn a lot so far. Sue is too awesome to be in the same sentence with anyone, so she gets a special mention.

Most of the humour of Finn is his naivability, the fact that he's not ******ed but he takes a while to catch on to Rachel's self-centred fast paced stream of thought makes his character very funny as they are so contrasting.

him and rachel are terrible together. I dunno... They were much more tolerable first season. This season they all seem to be... Over the top. there's way too much strain on the personalities of the characters. Not trying to hate, just talking ^^;

 

i also don't feel the bangs on Rachel this season. it's also weird how her personality changed from the Tracey Flick type girl (the girl in the movie Election) to an annoying backstabbing girl. like how she sent Sunshine to a crack house (though it was funny) and cheated on Finn just because he lied about Santanna.

one character i really hate this season is that guy that Kurt likes in the rich school. i hate every song he sung (he sung them well, but i just hate those songs in particular if that makes any sense). i also hate how he's like "you can't have a solo, it's for the team!" but he sings every frickin song!

i loved the Christmas episode though, it was funny, didn't add much to the story but a good episode anyways. i'm hoping that when Glee comes back later this season, they have an improvement on Season 2. i appreciate the fact that they're trying new things, but they shouldn't take out what DID work from Season 1 (like having songs that fit with the storyline).

also, i think their problem is that there's too many characters to share the screen time with. i think i actually liked Mike Chang when he had no lines. they should come up with more creative lines for him, we get it, he's Asian, we don't need to be reminded of that with practically every line he says.

still, i like Glee, it's not bad to the point it's unwatchable, just not as good as it used to be.

 

I've never really watched Glee, but all my friends watch it and every tuesday morning the first 20 minutes is spent talking about last nights episode. I don't mind it and it sounds interesting plus I've heard a few of the songs they do and they are very good. Most people seem to think this is a show worth watching so one day when I have the time I'll give it a shot.

 

they have the episodes online to watch so you don't have to wait until a tuesday that you have time to watch it. the people from fox post the episodes the day after they premiere in case you were wondering.

 

I never saw the first season, but I have been watching a few episodes here and there of the second season. I agree that the singing is really good and yes, I also think that Rachel can be a real pain causing unnecessary drama and such. I kind of enjoyed the duet that Mike and Tina had. So far i haven't really watched the series seriously since....the first few episodes of this season.

 

Fox only posts the last five episodes shown. Not all of them.

The first season was really special to television. It was new and different, and it went a bit further with things than most shows would :) When you watch it, it'll make sense why I said that.



The second season isn't horrible though. While seriously ****ing up some characters, they've seriously improved others. Artie and Britt are so much cooler. I really hope nothing happens to break them up. Kurt isn't as mean as first season either. I like him better now as well, Schuester is annoying, and I feel bad for Emma, but Mike is finally getting camera time too.

 

I've actually never watched Glee but one of my close friends is a "Gleek" so I guess it can't be that bad, right?
