Ahhhh, I see what you mean now. I thought you had meant that pants were wrong to be considered the normal and I was just like "but everyone wears pants, lol". But yeah, I agree with that point. To be fair, I don't think we'll likely see a change in that stigma for men to wear skirts/other things traditionally geared at women for a while, if only because the current general populace is socialized to separate the two, but attitudes are slowly changing and it should be a welcomed occurance in the (hopefully near) future.

And this is why I shouldn't wear one. Even if I was a girl, or it was normal for guys to wear them. I just can't seem to do that for a prolonged time. The closest I can get is leg crossing but that is often worse. Seriously, I've been trying for the like 30 seconds of typing this and I'm already shaking like I'm about to piss myself.

 

I don't really like skirts, but dresses are fabulous! The problem is, my dress size is a total mess because one size is too big and the size down is too small ;-; so I find it hard to get dresses that fit me.

I don't know, I'm fine with dresses (and love to wear them : D) but wearing skirts feels weird to me O.o

 

I find it hard to find dresses that I like that are casual. Seems like all my dresses are work/formal dresses except for one.

 

Same here, all my dresses are either formal afternoon tea and the Ritz dresses or going clubbing dresses. I don't like wearing them casually though, like around the house, because I like to feel comfortable no matter what leg placement I have.

 

This is perfect. I wish more women understood these concepts. I love skirts and dresses. If I had enough skirts and dresses, they would be all I wear. Currently I don't own any skirts. // sniffles // But, I do have two dresses that I love. One is a white lacey BOHO dress and the other is black and hippie swirly with the multi - colors and what - have - you strapless. I love the strapless one a lot. I wore it in my mom's wedding two summers ago.

 

Every dress I buy is 40s or 50s style, it's a bit ridiculous but they're my favorite

 

I like looking for dresses here. They are all vintage looking and whatnot. Super cute!

 

With all this raving about dresses, I'm starting to think that maybe I should trash the skirt thing entirely and do casual Asuka instead.
