Is anyone here a fan of SNSD/Girls' Generation besides me? ^.^ I love them to death. I admire that they dance so well. I actually like their dance-only videos over their actual promotional music videos. A friend showed them to me almost a year ago and I'm really glad she did. :) I wish I was awesome at dancing. ^^

I like this song a lot. This is the Japanese version of the original Korean song Mr. Taxi. :)

I AM ! *raises hand vigorously*

They are probably my favourite Korean band at the moment. I bought their new album a couple of weeks ago, and I loved it especially the title track. I really think their style has changed over the years, which is a good thing, because they couldn't stay cute and innocent forever (ex/ the songs Gee and Oh! I love those too).

But if I recall correctly, Mr.Taxi was originally Japanese and they made a Korean version. They were working in Japan before their Korean comeback (with their new album).

Anyways, I love SNSD. Love them to death (:

Yay a SNSD fan!!! ^.^

Oh thanks for the info! I didn't know that!! ^.^ Ok so the "Comeback" I keep hearing about makes sense now. XD I'm practically a new fan, so I'm still learning about them. Hehe.

I agree that their music has improved. I love both their cute stuff and more "grown up" songs too. At the same time, it's cool that they can be grown up and not drive so much attention to their appearances, unlike most American singers do (to put it properly). The music gets the same amount of attention that they do, instead of 100% on their looks. ^.^

Haha (: Don't worry about being a new fan, when I first became a fan of them I knew absolutely nothing about them, other than the fact that they were Korean. I've been a SNSD fan for a few years now.

And I definitely agree with you. I think one of the reasons I love SNSD so much is because they focus more on personality and musicality rather than appearance (although, they all look amazing). I hope that will every change about them.

If I were to choose my favourite song by SNSD I would probably choose Tell Me Your Wish (Genie) or The Boys.

My friend got me into listening to them and gave me one of their albums. I admit I like them. Mr. Taxi is actually one of my favorites.

I could watch the dance video for Gee over and over over, for hours.

But other than that, I'm not really a fan - not my kind of music. I can see the appeal though.

I can't decide what my favorite song from them is. Though I've been listening to Mr. Taxi a lot because I just found it recently. lol

Their newest one The Boys sounds better in Korean than the English version, I personally think so anyway. But I do like both. What do you think?

I enjoy listening to both of them as well, but I prefer the English one, because I understand what they are saying and because I've listened to it more often than the Korean version. That happened with Mr.Taxi, too. Since I had listened to the Japanese version of it for at least half a year, when I heard the Korean version, it sounded a bit odd. But I've grown to like both, just like I have with The Boys :D .

I did that with Mr. Taxi too! lol I like it more than the Korean. Plus I can pronounce the Japanese and sing along with it.

I guess I'm a moderate fan of them, my favorite song by them is Hoot.

They also performed in NYC with SHINEE and other K-Pop stars like BoA, which I missed.

Unfortunately I don't live near New York, so I didn't get to watch it live ):. But I watched it here:

SM entertainment also posted posted it on their channel (SMTOWN) but they took out the live audio and replaced it with the studio version. Also, by the looks of it, it seems to me like they're lip syncing. It really bothered some people that they did. I didn't really mind because it was their first live concert where they had to sing in a language foreign to theirs. They didn't lip sync when they sang some of their other songs in Korean, so they will probably stop once they get used to singing in English :D

Yay thanks for posting that! I don't mind their lip synching English. I would probably do the same thing in their language until I learned it. It's understandable.
I love their military style in this. The military look is just awesome to me (not the ugly camouflage look.).
Also, did you know that Sooyoung was in a car accident this past August? I'm amazed that she recovered so quickly and dances like nothing happened. lol It was a minor injury, but still.

I always love their outfits :D.
Yeah, I have heard about her accident. When the news was first released about it, it was all my friends could talk about (we're all very big fans of SNSD). She's one of the main dancers so I don't think she had much of a choice but to learn the dances quickly. After all, SNSD wouldn't be the same if there were only 8 girls :)

Their outfits are always so amazing! I love their clothes in Hoot and Genie.
Good point. I didn't think about her being a main dancer in that situation, even though I already knew it. I guess I was so shocked I didn't think about. I'm glad she's ok now. ^^
Yeah if it was only 8 I think fans would force them to rename themselves. lol

Oh wow! I didn't know theres a Girls' Generation thread! I like Girl's Generation as well. My favorite is still their first song "Into The New World". Did you guys watch "David Letterman" and "LIVE! With Kelly" recently? They are now currently promoting the US Album in New York right now! I don't know if its still early for them but if they get good response then its good enough. =)

Why haven't I posted in here yet?! D:

I love Girls Generation. I have a really hard time saying which songs are my favorite... I really like Gee, Mr. Taxi, Born to Be a Lady, and I really love the harmonics in Let it Rain.
