girl gamers

I play a lot of games online, and I've seen this quite a few times. I just think it's dumb. Asking someone to have sex while you're possibly on the other side of the world...

But believe me, not only guys are like this. There are a lot of girls who act like this at online games. Sure, there aren't as many girls as there are guys who act like this, but guys aren't the only ones.

Like for example, I was playing Sherwood Dungeon once(yes, Sherwood, anyone got a problem xD), I was asked by 2 girls at the same time to have sex with them.

but you are right for 2 things one just because a girl asked for sex doesn't make it any better then a guy asking for sex and 2 asking some one for sex online is the only thing dumber then saying i'm going to your house to kill u now tell me where u live

 

When I used to play Halo 3 virtually everyday on xbox live with a headset...Well, yeah. I got a lot of guys flirting with me. And I recall on several occasions guys actually freaking out like, "Oh my God, girls play Halo?! Are you a girl? Seriously!?" And yeah. It got annoying but I learned how to deal with it and just keep playing. Same with Gears of War. >< ​

 

Meh. I'm sure there are dumber things, but the 13 year olds who act like that probably never had a girl in their life and have just discovered what 'sex' means and learned that they like boobies.

It's just extremely sad and it can really spoil a nice game of Capture the Flag at Halo.

 

yeah you're right.... again stop being right all the time but it is more annoy with 8-10 they are so high pitched and go nuts when they get a kill if you are 13 or 14 i say it is ok but really it says M but i think i know why cause when i when to a gamestop this is what happened
kid and mom: we like to buy this
gamestop guy: you know this has blood
kid:it has no blood
GS guy: well it has purple blood
and he got the game making more sqeaker in the game

 

I think it's really cool when girls play video games and these guys just need to grow up. Girl gamers are just as good as the guys :3

 

Girl gamers are great. So are girl roleplayers. It shows they have imagination and well, it's a way to spend time with them too as I like those things. It's hard to go out with someone who has very little of the interests you do for casual time.

I can see why girls get annoyed at Halo and other games online. Halo offends a lot of people online. I get irritated with it because some people are just stupid on there and so I don't bother with the game anymore. Females though get really trash talked on there and some of the boys (or 40 year old guys) really say some mean things that just is uncalled for.

I think there are more female gamers out there than people know of though some games are beginning to take notice of it and do things to include them in with game things. I have friends that are girls who get into the games that people assume are more 'male' oriented, which I think is cool. Maybe someday the boys (and men) will grow up some on games like Halo but I don't see it happening for a while.

 

WTF!? Ok that is just.. idk but Its ridiculous..and sick..what is with men these days? >.> and I'm a huge gamer girl! and i've had a few people do that to me too on halo, it pissed me off. Thats the only thing I hate about online gaming too, cause there's no rules (which i like but also hate..)

 

Half of the 'girls' you find on online gaming are guys. Girls do play games, I've met a lot of girls online, but when some guy finds a girl with a mic in a room, its proof that it isn't a guy pretending. So they get excited, I guess -_-

I have been playing Xbox Live for the past...5 months? Yeah, I met plenty of girl gamers on there (and one of my best friends that I've know for years, is a hardcore girl gamer) And she told me it's really bad and sometimes borderline harrasment on some games.

I mean, some of the comments people say are just so hard to think "How the hell can you say that?" I guess because some guys think it's like sports, it's a "male" thing. And funny thing is, in my case, the girls on L4D2 are wayyyyy better then the guys, and they're fun to talk to, instead of which consists of guy talk "Drugs, Boobs, and how the hell that girl come in?"

 

I'm a gamer girl too.I play Assassin's Creed 1 and 2 and I played all of the Prince of Persia games too.And I play Guitar Hero Aerosmith and World Tour.Once I went online with Spell Force 2 Shadow Wars.The other players knew i'm a girl and they were very kind. Till I didn't beat them. ;)

 

LOL I think this is why I don't have a mic on ps3, but because of my name most people know I'm a girl. I love playing video games, it's actually my life. my ps3 is my baby. I don't listen to the people online, lol it's amusing actually. My best friend and I are such gamer girls, I would go to her house and play Halo on xbox live. She's better than me and I'm pretty decent, so guys can't say much. I've gotten the random comments like "Omg it's a girl" and I reply "OMG you're a girl too!?" OR I've been asked "Are you a girl or a high pitched boy" xDD some guys are nice, but like it doesn't matter till you shotgun the guy and they get pissed and won't stop being *****y until they shot you down and be like "**** you" LOL seriously.. it's really ******ed. But I'm not saying I'm a nice player... I will take down a ***** if I have to. >: -loads up shotgun- lol OHH and never get into a convo against guys who are in love with COD >.> it gets really irrtating

 

Girl gamer here.
Granted, I'm not hardcore, but I do know how to f**k some people up in L4D and Brawl.
I don't really get harrassed that often anymore, but when I was a bit younger, I used to get a lot of rude comments on MapleStory because I used to pick the guy character because I didn't like the skanky girl clothes. Someone would call me a he, I would gently correct them, and they would be all like "ZOMG ur a girl? Beotch, u should pick teh girl so people know!"
What if I don't want to pick the girl? Tough cookies for you, then, huh?

That's just another steryotype about girl gamers, that they HAVE to pick the girl character in games where it's available.

 

I'm a guygamer and I personally would play with anyone without question...Howver my lack of xbox or ps3 makes it hard to play in other than brawl or pokemon or mario kart xD

I personally have no problem with girl gamers. I don't get guys who get all pissed when they get beaten by girls at games, I think that's freaking amazing if a girl could do that. I think the world needs more girl gamers, because I'm always talking to my guy friends about new games and such (one in particular) when my girlfriend comes along and lets me finish talking, but with a really confused look on her face. It's cute, but I feel kinda nerdy after it happens.

 

I'm a girl gamer and personally I hate the guys out there who are predjudiced about it. I mean not all girls just like to shop and put on makeup. I've been made fun of in the past for being such a hardcore gamer. I'm telling you it really sucks because a good number of the gaming population is made up of girls. I hate it when guys will say that we suck just because we're the opposite sex. I'd like to see the day when girls will NEVER be criticized for liking video games. That'll be the day when I start crying tears of joy.

 

Apparently, according to a recent study, 70% of online gamers are girls, even if they don't show it. And that's according to Kotaku, anyway.

 

I'm not surprised at those numbers. Girls are more involved in Video Games than most people realize.

 

Girl gamer, I've played games since the Sega Master System. My brother got me interested in it and then lost interest and I took over. I play all sorts of games, no online, though. Mostly rpg's/adventures/puzzles sometimes. But I have tried fighting once in a while.
