Set to release Feb. 2012. It's a "loose sequel" from the first as in not a sequel at all? Anyway, it'll offer a new origin sequence for Ghost Rider but it's still Nicholas Cage<3 It seems to be a bit darker, though it also seems to have the same humor as the first (where the studio probably finds it funnier than the audience). Also, there's a "Devil" though it's unsure if it's Mephisto from the first.
    Anyway, trailer galore for you.

Hmm... I dunno what to make of this..
I guess I'll try to look forward to it. I've always been a fan of Ghost Rider. It just depends on where they take it in this.
Personally, I liked the first movie, but I don't want to see an exact repeat. They need something new while keeping the ...charm? That the first movie had. Which of course is fairly obvious, but what has me worried about that is this whole 'loose sequel' business.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see. :/

I never got an opportunity to watch the first Ghost Rider, but ths trailer does seem darker than that one. ._.

Overall, I have to say I do want to see this movie. It seems like it will have a lot of dark moments (which I'm a fan of), but as long as there's even a brief second of humor (i.e. the end of the trailer lol) it should be good to me.

this sounds like a different movie with the same basic concept. I might watch it, but the first one seemed to go by way to quickly for me

The first Ghost Rider didn't leave much of an impression on me (though I found it interesting enough to watch a couple of times), so I think herethat SoV is a chance to redeem the first movie and maybe give Ghost Rider a chance at being a more popular superhero.

And that last bit of the Rider peeing fire made me die laughing.

I want to see this. I wasn't too impressed with the first one since it was rushed and they fused the first and second Ghost Riders together. It could have easily been spread into two films, but this one looks intresting.

I've always been a Ghost Rider fan, and seeing the "Marvel Knights" logo in the beginning made me grin. If it's under the "Knights" logo, it should be a little darker then the first one since that's when the Comics hit the Nightmare Fuel hard.

ok, so I just watched the Trailer, and why is it they always have to make them look so darn good? I saw the trailer for the first and I thought the same thing. Curse trailers and their ability to make movies seem better than they are/were/will be. Not saying this might be bad, but I don't know. But that peeing fire? Just a little strange, and yet humerous at the same time

I only saw bits and pieces of the first Ghost Rider (Which I assume also had Nicolas Cage in it), and it looked pretty good. This one's looking to be really good, but I can't say it is yet, as I haven't seen it.

Seeing as I just recently got into the Marvel comics, and that Ghost Rider was one series that I wanted to start learning about, I hope that this movie can be understood by people like me who don't have much prior knowledge of Ghost Rider.

Overall, it's looking to be a great movie!

I really enjoyed the first movie and have been wishing for a sequel for it. I'm not sure of what to make of the trailer though; it looks like it'll go either way. I don't know if it's following the comics though, since I have never read them. I just hope that they do a good job with the story. The Marvel movies haven't been disappointed me lately.

To me, the first one's problem was that it combined elements of Johnny Blaze--low growl, darkened stare, Hellcycle--and Danny Ketch (who was the second Ghost Rider in the '80s)--Penance Stare, Spiked Jacket, and Chainwhip--and tried to make them into one Rider. To me, it didn't work very well since I was able to pick both Riders out of the traits in the movie. This looks to be closer to the Johnny Blaze Rider, just like the characters name.
