does anyone know the official site to download and install Mozilla Firefox? I've found plenty of sites you can get it, but I'd rather take it from the official site than some 3rd party. I've had just about enough dealing with the problems caused by IE, and I need to get Mozilla back in my life

In the My Computer properties, look under "System"
Should be in the General Tab.

You can get it here, and it's compatible with any OS.

I'm not getting Chrome because it sucks in my opinion. I've used it before on other computers, and I actually find it worse than normal IE. Both me and my brother, who also happens to know more about chrome than I wish to know, hate Chrome and will never use it.

No browser is inherently "better" than another. It all just depends on what you want. I believe that Chrome outperforms Firefox in terms of speed, but (I find) Firefox excels in customization. I do like Chrome's UI, but that's easily emulated on Firefox. Chrome is not a bad browser--really there aren't any, except for anything below IE9 (purely for its godawful CSS support)--and Firefox isn't either.
