I'm curious to hear what your thoughts might be. Most former presidents have gone on public tours and worked in the wings of politics since their last day in office, but what about Bush? Will he be return to the Texas Rangers? Political Tour? Retire to his ranch? Discuss.
I'll find it interesting no matter what he does, I think he would most likely do all three or both in a way. I think he will go on a political tour and maybe visit the Texas Rangers and then probibly retire to his ranch or elsewhere.
My teacher told us today that he is returning to Texas and he is writing a book about why he did what he did.
All I heard was he was going back to his ranch in Texas, which might be best for him after all that time in office. He's worn, he's tired, and now doesn't have to carry the weight of the world on his shoulders anymore. It'll be better for his health later on in life.
if it was me id retire. those eight years would be so stressful and dramatic after that why wouldnt you retire? and youre set for life after presidency aren't you? i wouldn't plan on doing anything big after that
Yeah. He sure did a terrible job keeping us safe from foreign powers and terrorists. Thank goodness he isn't in power..
He put this country into a recession (you can't say it wasn't at least partly his fault), got America into a pointless (yes, it is pointless, we may as well have invaded Russia) war, and he couldn't speak in front of a camera. Basically, he was a moron and I am very glad this country had the neurons to elect an intelligent person.
For one: did he fly those planes into the World Trade Center? No, he didn't. We definitely had a reason to go to War. Yes, he did put us in a recession. There is no denying that. But so did democrats in Congress. Don't forget them.
Correct, he didn't fly those planes into the Towers, but hey, neither did Saddam. I completely support operations in Afghanistan, but Iraq? No thanks.
Oh, so he can make more money. Oh well, I hope he retires to his ranch, but I don't think its gonna be so easy.
