i don't like gary, but he was the best rival...​

 

Yeah, defintely!
I just completed Green after Pearl a while ago... Gary was a gwd rival, but the Pearl rival...well, I'm surprised there wasn't any originality in him at all... In another game, Gary would have to be too strong to be your character's rival when you're starting out, but yeah I agree he should come back!

 

Personally, I got sucked into the series when I first saw the show. Then, after many years of collecting, battling, and Wi-Fi, I finally said, "Now what?" I quit 2 months ago. I liked it, and I stayed addicted for quite a while, but you need to know when to stop. (when you have done everything in the game and beaten every trainer at least 25 times)

He's the only one that managed to defeat me,and he aways appear when you less expect,i mean,who would have thought he was a Sylph Co?

Well,playing over Wi-Fi after beating the game is good,but also,battling the Frontier Brains from Emerald and Platinum is hard enough to make me keep playing it forever.

Yes,he was,the others don't even get close to him,he was the only Rival whi became Champion,though Pearl/Diamond team on Platinum has the higest levels ever,But Gary still is the bets!
I remember when i fought him on Gold,he was a gym leader if i'm not mystaken.

I choose Squirtle as my started when I played LeafGreen(never played Blue,Red,etc)so he choose Balbasaur.To me I thought Gary was weak. I raise a Beedrill that was Jolly nature and beat his whole team XD, but some times his Pigeot got in the way...But for my back up I had my Golem take care of him and the rest.

 

Well,in Silver/Gold/Cristal you met with him there.
And he's a Gym leader in the same game i think.

in my gold, i had a good data, my friend asked to start a new game, i tell him to NOT SAVE!!!!! and what does he do...-_-

i had a feraligatr (favorite pokemon) level 100, and a machoke level 90 something (yes, believe it i used my machoke that much xD) on my Gold version, and my friend deleted the data. Dx​

Gary was the Viridian City Gym Leader in Generation II, I believe. The one who replaced Giovanni.

Anyhow, I was recently re-hooked on the series, thanks to a few friends of mine.

And a shame you lost your Jirachi. =/

I'm going to get there soon,finally i can see him again,but now as uuber powerful gym leader.
