    Oh yeah no I don't mean to suggest FE isn't well-done, I'm jus sayin'. If any fusion of mechanics takes place, it'll make that dichotomy kind of hard to balance, I think. But yeah you're right, it may just be one or the other. Man, trying to combine the actual combat mechanics of the two... Talk about cluttered.

    So that brings up another couple of questions. Which would be at the forefront? Which would we rather?

    I'd imagine the team doing most of the work will be the more prominent one, I've been meaning to get into the SMT franchise for a while now, but as it stands I know more about Fire Emblem, so I'd prefer that :P

    I really does depend who is making it. If Atlus makes it, it will be SMT, if it is Nintendo, it will be FE. I hope to god that is actually a good crossover, when the developers actually work together, because most crossovers are just developers getting other characters and throwing them into the game, do I hope no series has a larger role then the other, not even because I like both series, but because I want them to work together.

    I'd hoped for news on this game at the Direct, but didn't actually expect it, so this was a nice surprise! As someone who's never played an SMT game and has only played some FE, I think the game looks really cool as of right now, even if the trailer doesn't look like it retains much from either series (which I don't even know anyway, so...).
