It hasn't yet been released yet, but I'm sure many of you have seen and watched screenshots, clips, etc. of the upcoming Kingdom Hearts: Re: Chain of Memories--of what you've seen, which would you prefer?

The classic GBA, GameBoy Advance, version of Chain of Memories with 2D graphics and cutie movements.

The new PS2, Playstation 2, version of Re:Chain of Memories with voice actors and 3D graphics.

Personally, I prefer (at least I should think I will) the PS2 version. What about you?

    Cheers,
    ~Kadaj

No brainer. PS2. Better graphics, better presentation with voice-acting and extended/extra cutscenes.

GBA has its charm, but if we're comparing the two overall, it's an easy decision for me.

the PS2 one is better, HOWEVER, there is ONE feature that i wish the PS2 one had that the original game had: VERSUS MODE. i loved playing this mode, me and my friend kept customizing our decks and sometimes would get so competitive that we would make decks with the sole purpose of countering another deck we made. but one card always saved me: Gargoyle card. this card allows INVISIBILITY. yep, it's exactly what it sounds like, invisiblity!

That would be an awesome feature on the PS2 version indeed!

yea, it really would be a great feature but it's sadly not possible. because the 2 people would have to share a screen and that would ruin any "schemes" one of the players might have :( it only worked on GBA because the players had seperate screens and could execuete their cards/decks/strategies without their opponent seeing it. and plus, with the invisiblity card that i always use......the other player would be able to see me and if they can't see me, that means I wont' even be able to see myself if versus mode was on PS2. it's because of stuff like that is why Versus mode wouldn't work well. it's too bad really.

It'd be quite cool if they replaced it with something like.... Kingdom Karts or somethings. A Kingdom Hearts racing game would be very fun and would work as a good replacement for Versus Mode. Haha but I doubt that game will come along.

This is an obvious question. I, along with mostly evryone, have to go with the PS2 version. I mean, come on, it's got better voices and graphics alog with the whole"card-duel" ability.

Im pretty sure the ps2 version will be better. Sure, the GBA game has its charms and the whole "original" thing makes it seem better... but the ps2 version will have voice actors (no need to read the damn writing) and beautiful graphics nearlu always mean beautiful game :3

Without a doubt the ps2 one. It has voice actors and better graphics which will make it a lot better than the GBA one. I do still like the GBA one though.

    PS2, most definitely.
    Better graphics.
    Voice actors. (Oh hell yeshhh)
Controls, I just think they'll be better. *shrug*

Yeah, I'm pretty pumped for this game. I plan on pre-ordering it, like my friend did. He's so pumped for it too. xD

Ps2. I actually found it kind of irritating that they put it on GBA first, cause I don't have one. So I think this was a very good move to bring it to America on Ps2. If only they could one with, and without the card battle system.

I only played Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, and I didn't play the Ps2 version. Though I don't think I wanna buy Re:Chain of Memories. The GBA version has its own way which makes it a magical game. I'm actually kinda disappointed that there even is a Kingdom Hearts: Re:Chain of Memories...

I can definitely understand that. A remake of a game makes the original lose a little bit of its classical charm.

(I'm looking forward to this particular remake.)
