358/2 Days Gawd! Why is Saix such a ****** to Axel?

Useless? They chose their own fate, either way coincidenal or not. Axel followed his orders with Vexen through Marulxia. Axel was a threat to Saix and he didn't like it so he acted in his cruel way. It wasn't like Saix was nice to any of the other members as well as he was cold to Demyx as well. Maybe faking or acting was a way to keep ones sanity in the organization rather than be drawed off like unemotional beings that they hated to be. Axel and Demyx faked their emotions and I think so did Xigbar.

 

Axel twisted Marluxia's orders. Marluxia, too, was against the Organization. That is a fact. But Axel not only destroyed Marluxia, but Vexen and Zexion, both of whom were strongly WITH the Organization. I'm not saying Axel is "bad"m as the Organization is portrayed as the antagonists with the exceptions of Axel and Roxas. I'm trying to say that Saix was justified in his actions. His "actions" of course only consisted of worrying about what Axel would do, and taking Kairi back. He's an antagonist, but maybe not a bad guy, per se. What would have happened if Kingdom Hearts HAD been opened? It, being a heart, is unprodictable, and we may never see this happen. There was never any proof that it's opening would harm Sora or the worlds. They may have plunged into darkness, or as Sora has thought, maybe it was light. Either way, going against it doesn't make sense. Axel's actions were illogical.

 

You realize that, again, his fake emotions got in the way? You cannot know how Saix treated the others, but I'd say that Xemnas, Xaldin, Vexen, Zexion, Luxord and Lexeuas(?) were among the ones he respected. B/C: Marluxia was a traitor, anyone w/ eyes could see that, Larxene (see Marluxia), Xigbar was just annoying, Axel (see the WHOLE THREAD), Demyx was a wimp, and Roxas was with Axel. The other members actually got something done. THAT'S what Saix wanted. Progress. The others were a waste of nothing (being nobodies).

Ah, no, no, as far as we know, Xigbar is okay. Maybe not the greatest, but he did seem good at finding things out. You know, listening in on Xemnas? Maybe not such a good idea, but whatever. He did sign people up for the Organization, even if it was Marluxia...
So, from what I've seen, he tries, but usually messes up. We'll find out more about him in the next game, though. I'd say that members I through VI were focused (being the originals), then VII, and maybe X. I can't remember who, but at least one member didn't really respect Luxord's tactics. It wasn't Demyx...

Other than that, yeah. I wonder how Shion will fit in.

 

Saix is just made cause he doesn't have friends.
And if Axel was useless; why did they put him in the Org. anyways?

 

Good point. Maybe because he cared enough to chase after run-aways? I'm certain Xaldin wouldn't go chasing after Roxas or Xion.

 

Ha, maybe that was Xigbar's, too. He seems to be in charge of recruiting.

 

Saix is possibly jealous of Axel because Axel has coolness Saix lacks, and Axel actually has friends.

Saïx probably is jealous of Axel, but not because of his friends. Like *Twilight Night* said, he felt jealous or bitter because Axel was either acting like he had a heart, or he actually could feel human emotions.

And I also got the picture (after reading countless of fan-works) that Saïx felt that Nobodies are practically filth, and as long as they lacked hearts, they didn't deserve to feel. This could sorta explain why he appears to dislike Axel so much, who seems to manage to feel like a human.

^Not necessarily the most cannon look at things, but I think it sort of would suit his personality to 'feel' that way. (Of course, that is the opinion of a irredeemable Saïx-fan. Btw, does anyone else find it annoying how carefully you have to choose your words when writing about Nobodies?)

 

Please correct me if I am wrong, but are you suggesting, in any way, that Saix is the only Nobody to openly seem to not have any emotion whatsoever, while others may have some to at least an extent?

Now that I think about it, it could account for the fact of his berserk rages.

Or maybe the berserk-rage is his way of showing emotions? Maybe he vents all the other 'useless' remnants of emotions in to anger, so he can use it as a physical weapon? Oops, I'm gettin' a bit off-topic... Shhh!

Xemnas could have chosen him for a number of different things. Perhaps his skill in fighting (which I do doubt, as he was not a very good fighter)?

You know, that may be another reason why he seems to dislike Axel.
