Games you thought were hard as a kid...

and then you went back and played them when you grew up, and you discovered that they actually were really freakin hard.



#1 example for me is Rayman. Those music levels are a bitch no matter how old you are.

 

Onimusha, good times, you practically need to master the counter ability to get through the harder diffs

Hmm....I would have to say Harry Potter, the first one made for PS. I made it all the way to the end, and Quirrel murdered me eighteen times over. I said many bad things O.O

 

Easy game is easy although they tried to make it hard. I loved Onimusha so much XD. (IMO)

For me it has to be:
Harry Potter 2 because of the sneaking level in the woods.
Drakengard because I replayed it using the magic weapons.
Yu-Gi-Oh (forgot the name, its on ps1) because of the crappy cards you randomly get for a starting deck. It's 50/50 depending on the cards you get and the fact that the real cards you want to use you have to buy them after putting the codes in.

 

Pokémon Yellow, I used to be **** scared of the elite four xDD

 

Harry potter 1. So easy 'till quirrel. Rayman. I agree with the music levels and also the last boss were insane. Bugs bunny crazy castlke 4 was REALLY hard. Abe's odysee was quite hard from the way it tells you how to sneak, move and things like that then it leaves you to it, no reminders. It just leaves you to get masacared by the sligs. And there was a game called silent hill...18+but you know./..My uncle gave it to e. It scared the hell outta me the first 5 times...Then it broke. My uncles awesom. I'm 14 and about 5 years ago he got me a gun for christmas :D.

And incredible crisis. I loved that game immensely, but even at 16 I still can't get past the entire of Taneo's story. ]=

 

Umm....I still can't beat Scar in that Lion King game on the Genesis because I can't get him to flip...or Jafar in Aladdin on the same system...I always ran out of apples.

 

Yu-Gi-Oh Forbidden Memories on PS1,it was actually easy when i was a kid,but now....

The game itself is easy,but there's one boss that was kinda easier before for me,and now i can barely beat him.

 

Onimusha: warlords, Mortal Kombat: deadly alliance, and uhhhhm i guess that would be it.

 

Don't know if this counts as a real buuuuuuuut...

The Donkey Kong Series...

It's so hard it isn't even fair...

I mean you die if you get hit even once!

I'm a fan of ALOT of games...

But I just hated The Donkey Kong Games!

The Super Mario World Games were hard too...

I didn't care much for those either...

I just kept on and on and on dieing again and again and again in a practically endless cycle in both of them! >_<

I felt like I might as well have been continuously beating my head against a brick wall!:bangbang:

It was that frustrating!

ARRRRRGH! Man...I can't believe I was the only one who found those games to be hard...

I guess I fail at life don't I?

 

Rayman was indeed insanely difficult. Super Mario for the Game Boy Color got pretty fucking hard eventually too. Or maybe that's just me.

 

I saw my mom playing the legend of zelda: a link to the past on the super nintendo and it looked hard. I played it and it was actually easy, but you gotta know how to read and I wasn't that good.

 

Rayman and sonic... I couldnt beat the sonic games when i was younger....

 

The games i could never beat cuz I thought were hard was Mario 64, Zombies Ate My Neighbors, and Resident Evil 2 XD

The final boss of Megaman X. The rest of the game is relatively easy, but I have yet to defeat Sigma after all these years.

 

When I was real little I could never beat Sonic. Now I can beat the whole game in a day.
