Fun, anyone?

We got a composition for tomorrow in the English class, but I'm too tired to do it right now because the school was very tiring today.It's not a big deal, just that I can't think of a story right now to write and I don't know if I'm gonna do it later, because I have other subjects to study, more important. So I would appreciate it if anyone helped me on this.

Topic:
You have decided to enter a short story competition organised by an international magazine. The competition rules say that the story must begin with the following words:

"It suddenly dawned on methat I could somehow read people's thoughts; what an amazing phenomenon!"
(Write a story of about 120-180 words)

The language should be semi-formal. Again, I don't want to avoid writing the composition, but I'm very tired.
I've written many other compositions like this in the past and it won't make a difference writing this one.
And also this is not something difficult for you who talk this language every day, right?
