This is the year 2007 in the country of Amestris. This was the golden age of alchemy, cities flourished with this seemingly all-powerful skill. More mysteries of alchemy are solved each day and more are discovered. Though alchemy is dominant, physics are also advancing as their grasp of technology grows. Still, legends of the greatest amplifier, the Philosopher's Stone, still survive. There are still those who wish to seek it. The military has improved, gaining new weaponry and recruits, also there are more State Alchemists joining. Alchemists of the day do not yet know of The Gate, the source of all alchemy, or where the energy for transmutation come from. There are those who still are willing to try ressurecting the dead..............................

Biography: Seto is an alchemist that has been working for the military for a ver,very long time but he looks as if though he was still at a rookies age.He was born during an unknown time.His family came from Japan where he found out about his samurai/ninja heritage.His ancestors were both.His parents decided to train him in both arts,along with alchemy,just incase if he was ever dissarmed.That way,he would always have something to create a weapon with.Seto trained for a long time before he went to the military to perfect his alchemy and has also been there for a long time.That is all that is known about him.His experiances,past times,and such other things are unknown,but what really puzzled everyone was the pendant that was attached to his skin.

Biography: Ed was born in Risembool. He seemed to be named after someone, so he went to do some reasearch. He was named after Edward Elric, the prodigy known as the Fullmetal Alchemist and seemed to be an old friend of his grandmother, Winry Rockbell. She told him when he asked her where the Fullmetal Alchemist was today that he disappeared. He set his lifelong goal to find this Edward Elric. In a kitchem accident, he lost his right arm and left leg, it had to be replaced with automail. His brother, Alphonse, stays at home most of the time.
