Fruits Basket:The Legacy Continues

The Zodiac story that has been around for many generations isn't completely accurate.
The Cat actually attended the banquet, but there was another.
A Wolf, white as snow, was sent down to protect the soon-to-be zodiac members.


Now we join the Sohma family in the present day. Tohru, with the help of Yuki, has caught Kyo and they convinced him to come home with them. Kyo changes back to his normal self and they go home. Later they visit a furious Akito. She is angry that Tohru is still staying even after seeing Kyo's true form. Finally Tohru melts Akito's heart and she is allowed to stay. Their lives return to relative normality but then they get big news. The cat has been let into the zodiac. Everyone is ecstatic, especially Kyo.But then more news comes. An odd quirk in the genes of the Sohma house that has shown itself. Whenever a Sohma interacts with a non-zodiac member for a period of time(the exact time is a little vague) then the genes of that Sohma member will be passed on to that person.

"I AIN'T EATING THOSE D*NM THINGS!!!" Kyo yelled as he pressed his lips together. He sat back away from the steaming leeks that were set in front of him. "There is no way." he said and folded his arms. After a few minutes he grabbed a rice ball and tore a bite out of it, angrily.

SOHMA HOUSE

"Hey Sotu-kun, how many rice balls do you want?" Momiji leaned his head out of the kitchen, his face bright and cheerful. "Don't worry, I have enough rice for as many as you want!!"

Hatsuharu chuckled as Momiji stuck his face out."Momiji-kun you have rice all over your face," he said while still laughing softly.

Sotu(who is the wolf) smiled and raised up two fingers. "Just two, thanks," he said as he lowered his arm and turned back to face the table.

 

Tuski was sitting on her bed thinking. "Sure is a quiet day today" she said outload and smiled to herself, because she liked it like that.

 

((ok now..hm...how to do this....ok I know have your character go the the public gardens and Momiji will bump into there))

"Hey, I know!!Lets go to the gardens!!" Momiji exclaimed. He put the rice balls in a paper sack and came out of the kitchen, fairly bouncing.

"Ok, some fresh air will be good. See you later Sotu," he said as he waved to Sotu. Hatsuharu knew that the boy couldn't come, he had more homework. Momiji basically dragged him out the door and they headed off.
