Kingdom Hearts III Frozen in Kingdom Hearts 3?

Hello everyone! Have you seen the latest Disney movie "Frozen?" If you haven't, maybe you should check out the hype that's been sweeping across the community and social handles. According to critics, Frozen is the greatest Disney animated event since The Lion King. And they're right, according to the box office!

Here's a question for you. Could you imagine Frozen in the Kingdom Hearts series? Better yet, could you imagine a "Frozen" world in the upcoming Kingdom Hearts III?

Kingdom Hearts III is only in its early stages of development and I'm sure the team is currently deciding the possibilities of the worlds they want to include in the title. If any worlds have been included in the game at this point, I couldn't see more than two at this rate. It's not too late to include Frozen. The responds are outrageous! Frozen is heading to Broadway, so why not use this as an advantage in the Kingdom Hearts series?

I have to admit that I'm addicted to the song "Let It Go" and that little cute snowman, Olaf. But that's not the only thing that makes this movie interesting. If you want to think of plots and a moral lesson like we've seen in Kingdom Hearts, think about the ending from Frozen.

Doesn't that sound like something similar from Kingdom Hearts? I have to admit, when it comes to emotions, we've seen it all. At this point, Frozen is that perfect world. We've laughed, we've cried and yes, as a Kingdom Hearts fan it becomes a bitter sweet moment, because we've connected to stories from Disney worlds with Sora, Donald and Goofy. Let's just face the facts, "some people are worth melting for."

Nomura, brace yourself for the ice! I believe I can speak for many Kingdom Hearts fans that Frozen is a perfect choice for Kingdom Hearts III. What do you guys think? Do you believe Frozen would be a good choice to include in Kingdom Hearts III. Discuss!

 

I would personally think this would be a great world to have in the game. And who better to have as your partner than either Elsa or Anna? Or even Kristoff, in his own right. And it's even got some people in it that could make for some decent bosses. It's also got a nice hint of what we see in Kingdom Hearts with the morals and such, especially with the whole fear, hiding away to keep others safe, and all the rest that are in the film. I honestly would find it hard to not see this in Kingdom Hearts. Plus, the animation wouldn't be too largely different from the film, at least that I can imagine, so it's be a pretty cool match as well

 

Did anyone notice that I included Sora, Goofy and Donald in the picture?

 

I think it is rather hard to miss

Anyway, some people might have seen my comment in the Future Worlds for KH thread, where I was against Frozen being in the game. Not because I didn't want to see it, but because I thought the plot would be rather hard to mold into a typical KH formula.

After giving it more time to sink in and thing about it (maybe a couple of weeks?) I have become a lot more comfortable with the idea and I really think it would be something enjoyable to see in the game. I think it would be a bit easier to mold that I was thinking at the time.

Although... I don't think I want to see it in KH3... in a future KH game, ABSOLUTELY I would LOVE to see it. But I just think it is a little too early(and a little too late) to throw it into the Xehanort Saga. But if they do in fact add it... I will live, and will probably enjoy it a lot.

For real, Frozen is literally the MOST PERFECT Disney world to include in Kingdom Hearts III.

 

I knew KH News featured random theories. I just... knew it!

 

I would love this. It would be a great world and the formula works with KH. You can fight Marshmallow, Hans, or even Elsa. Those three seem to work the most.

 

I think it's to late for SE to put Frozen into Kingdom Hearts 3. But maybe we will find this world in further games, who knows

 

While not denying Frozen is great, I just think it's not as deserving of a world at this point in the series, especially since it's a fairly new movie. We still need the rest of the Disney Renaissance and some Pixar based worlds before Frozen can get in.

 

I think this is a bit misleading for the homepage there. I clicked back over and almost freaked out. I agree with most everyone, I would love to see a Frozen world in KH3. Elsa's ice guard would definitely make a great boss.

 

It would be an awesome world, and boss ... Vexen would have gone on vacation there if he was still alive to go there ... actually he might have ended up been god there if not the happy ending

 

I do think it could work, and I like the idea of it being included, but I think there are some other Disney iterations that need to take precedence over Frozen.

And Kingdom Hearts is no stranger to recent (for its time) Disney titles. Pirates of the Caribbean and, more notably, Chicken Little were still fairly young when KH2 came out. And KH3D graced us with Tron Legacy, which aired about 2 years prior.

Having said that, I have been avoiding watching Frozen like the plague because I hate when films are entirely CGI; they don't have the charm of hand-drawn animation or live action. But if it's really as good as folks are saying, I'll give it a chance.

 

AzzyFox I simply for the moment Like Vexen better than Even and Vexen would be more fun to guess about what Vexen would do due to his lack of morals compared to Even[DOUBLEPOST=1389897528][/DOUBLEPOST]To honest, I never saw the movie ... I am going on what I heard reviews and commercials and my friends which have been nothing but positive, but when I get the oppertunity I am watching it.

 

Frozen (and Tangled) are trying to blend CGI and traditional animation by hand-painting a lot of the animations. I don't know a lot about it personally, and imo avoiding something just because it's CGI seems a bit limiting, but they aren't abandoning the traditional means altogether.

I haven't seen "Frozen" but everyone says that it's a really good movie... Might have to actually go see it... Better than "The Lion King" though?? That's gonna be hard to beat. Lion King was definitely favorite Disney movie.

 

Okay, I just got back from watching Frozen, and what do I think?

I was wrong! I really liked this movie. =)
The music is amazing (and if "Let It Go" does not win the Oscar for Best Original Song, I will be most disappointed), the visuals are pretty good, particularly Elsa's ice powers and the film does a splendid job of kicking the Disney Princess stereotype of love at first sight right in the face, which I haven't seen since Enchanted.

The only thing that dragged the film down, in my opinion, was Olaf. He was not necessary for this film and his song was terrible.

Overall I give the film a 8/10 and I would LOVE to see it in Kingdom Hearts III.
