From the Ashes: The Fight for Utopia

SkyLight frowned. Chucking her other dagger at him, she stood up weakly.

 

SkyLight shook her head. "I'm no coward!"

 

SkyLight smirked. "Says you who warps around, attacking me from behind."

 

SkyLight crossed her arms. "So....?" One of her eyes turned purple.

 

SkyLight narrowed her eyes. Her other eye turned purple. "I'd rather not be a snake in the first place."

 

SkyLight blinked. Using the reflection of her dagger, she looked at herself. She frowned. "This isn't of my will you know."

 

The Void Wolf began to howl, and the Mages summoned an illusion of a moon. The soldiers went completely silent for a second, then began to claw at thereself and howl at the moon with the soldiers. The mages ignored this and kept the illusion in the sky.

The Void King readied some energy, and finally spoke to Raven. "Why have you come?"

 

"I have no idea why..." SkyLight trailed off as she started to glow. Returning to her original form, she slumped to the floor. "..... What?" She looked at herself.

 

"But if you kill me, you kill the dream. Don't you want peace? Don't you want to become part of the Abyss?" the Void King asked this in innocent tones, preparing for the worse response.

 

SkyLight frowned and stood up. Not caring about what she looked like again, she picked up her daggers.

 

"Because he sees things and thinks for the best of everyone. Starting again, getting rid of existence, thats doing everyone a favour!" SkyLight answered for him.

 

"You are misguided. See the light within the Abyss, only when it eclipses all will there be peace. Why do you hate love and peace?" the Void King asked.

 

SkyLight smirked. "Well personally, I've had enough of you!"

 

"You think that you can take me out the equation, go ahead and try" he said as he sat back calmly.

 

SkyLight crossed her arms. "You're too cocky for your own good."

 

"Why do you ask questions? Know your place," while the Void King said this a group of creatures with sword-like arms appeared. They had no eyes, and there mouths looked like the mouth of a leach. They evolved the more they killed. They formed a circle around the Void King, Skylight, and Raven.

 

"It isn't cockyness, i invite you to fight me because i haven't fought a person strong enough to stand their own in quiet awhile. i only ever fight for fun except in the case of replacing the royals" he told them. "Why do you constantly say that if you, the void king goes, everything goes with you?" He asks.

 

SkyLight watched the monsters circle them. She didn't fear them, she could kill them in one go.

 

"Is this your idea of peace?" he asked.

 

"Then tell us your idea then. Enlighten me on that subject." SkyLight said.
