From the Ashes: The Fight for Utopia

"It all began with existance. Chaos came after existance, right? Perhaps existance is chaos. People cause chaos. Destroy who they are and what they define as existance, and they fall in line. Only when all dimmensions are one and are a barren waste will there be order. I want to... Have you ever looked at a painting, but seen one flaw that made it ugly and there was no way to fix it without destryoing and redoing the whole painting? That is how existance is. A single flaw, and it most be completely writ anew to be corrected," the Void King said this as if speaking to himself.

 

SkyLight took this all in. "Existence has many flaws. Like the people who killed my parents." She clenched her fists.

 

"If existance did not exist, they could not have been killed," the Void King said comfortingly. He was actually being quite sincere, because these were the beliefs he had harbored for so long.

 

"But what happens when you start this whole existence again? Won't you just disappear along with it? Won't I dissapear too?" SkyLight asked.

 

"We'll all just fall, fall into the Abyss. That place where there is no existance and everything is always okay. You never have to worry about being shot down the alley, you can walk your dog past five. Doesn't a new world born from all the pure people, a world of Abyss, sound wonderful? A place where there is only one ruler, and that ruler is never forced to lie? No petty goverment officials lying off death, because there is no longer anyrhinf to kill?" the King looked back to Skylight. "No more death..."

 

SkyLight looked back at him. No more death.... She nodded. "Yes. That sounds wonderful."

 

"It is," the Void King said. he smiled and actually meant this, also. He thought he had finally shown her the light. It was only a matter of time until everyone saw the light, and everyone was no one.

SkyLight nodded. "Will I stay with you and be re born in your new world?"

 

"Yes, but first we must gather other pure people for this planet. We couldn't have any souls that are polluted with a century worth of pain, can we?" the Void King asked. "We will give them one final pain, and they will be out of there misery. We are actually doing them the biggest favor of their lives.

 

SkyLight nodded, agreeing. "Do you have any idea who these people might be?"

 

Sorrow does her best to stay well away from the hounds nose, but still curious watches.

 

Running at full tilt, Gendran tackled Raven and rolled across the floor with him in a pile of limbs.

"That would be me." he mocked.

"He is my father after all."

 

SkyLight moved and stood between the two, blocking anyone from attacking.

She watched the two fight. "You better know what you're doing. No one is killing him, not when I'm around."

 

SkyLight stayed in the same persition. "Try me. I'm not moving."

 

SkyLight dodged his attack and flew up. Bringing out her daggers, she looked at him. "If its a fight in the air, I'll win."

 

SkyLight dodged but the edge of her wing was clipped by it. "Damn." She flew at him, ready to attack.

 

SkyLight flew out of the way and attcked him. "I guess we'll be equalls."

 

SkyLight moved back and watched him change. If she hadn't been like this, she would of ran and hid from fear.

 

SkyLight was hit. She landed on the floor, clutching her side. "I don't want to see emotion. I'm fine without it!"

 

SkyLight got sat up and picked her dagger up. She aimed it at his head and threw it.
