Don't let your parent's divorce mess up your life.

Haha! we thought you got annoyed of us, about what you should do. Besides we kinda over ruled it! so we made a new one.

 

okay, well....my parent's have been fighting alot...and they don't have a divorce... YET! (thank god)...

My dad got drunk at his brother-in laws house and so did a couple other adults...my uncle tony for example... My mom went on the porch to smoke a ciggarette, and my uncle tony came out and literally, hunched over my mom...My dad came out and saw thinking she was cheating on him...I cried ALL night knowing my dad and mom were fighitng even though he was drunk... I'm NOTHING like my dad...But he raised my sister and brother to be just like him....spoiled rotten...He teaches my sister that the only way to get her way is to fight over it...he also teaches my brother the same thing...and when my brother cries, my dad yelles at him for it...The other day, I had to go get my mushroom chair to get on the computor and my sister got a rolly chair and got on the computor when I was on it...WE argued until my mom came in with a flyswat and hit us with it... My sister was yelling to my mom "I HATE YOU!", which caused her to get hit more and my mom yelled at her saying, "The only reason you hate me is because you are just like your daddy!" and after my sister locked herslef in a room, my dad asked me

"Are you happy now?" in the meanest way he could...He then walked out,...about after 30 minutes of my crying, he comes in and asks me,
"Whats wrong?" like if nothing happened.... MY mom has a job interview, she's going to get an apartment, and take my sister, and brother and me with her cause she's leaving him...but I feel sorry for my dad though...What should I do?

 

Wow that must really have hurt you. um. . . The thing is that it is your parents problem and you and your silblings are caught in between it. Does it feel like you are being stretched, like they are pulling you apart?

 

O dear... *hugs* I think that mabye it would be best if you talked to your dad, over telephone, email, person whatever. I think that you should tell him how you feel and talk to your mom too. Im always here if you need to Talk just Pm me.:)

I'm afraid to! MY mom is constantly getting jobs after quitting themm...MY dad yells at her for not having one, then yells at her more becuase she's not home all of the time when she does have a job...
My dad doesn't even know that she has a job interview...and I'm just too afraid to talk to my dad...becuase he's not like a yelling dad...he scares me too much to even look at him...

Ok from the sounds of it first of all I think the fact you have your mom onside is a benefit! I know you feel sorry for your dad (my dad left after fighting with my mom) sometimes people say things in the heat of the moment without thinking, I'm sure your dad didn't mean to say what he did to you. I don't know the whole story behind him accusing your mom of cheating but it is not your place as the child to have to deal with the problems of the parents, trust me I know thats easier said than done but talk to your mom about how much the arguing is upsetting you. Letting it build up is not a wise thing to do. Sometimes adults just argue especially if you are with someone 24/7.

With your sister and bro being spoilt I can sympathise lol my lil sis is very spoilt but I can guarantee you that everyone has sibling issues, don't let her get to you. Hmmm something that helped me when my parents were fighting was to put my music on oud and sing at the top of my voice! Keep positive and keep talking, in the end it will come out ok! :D
