Must I say it again? the warnings are in the rules. I'm sure whoever deleted the posts had a good reason now please, just accept you had some posts deleted and move on.

 

Okay, you really are making mountains out of molehills with this one. Staff isn't out to get anybody, they just have to do their job the best way that they know how. And, from that example, it did seem like a post someone would put in just to up their post count. You didn't explain exactly why he was your favorite, you just stated something and put some random stuff in. I just say calm down, take a breather, and think out your posts.

 

only 3? I got 20 deleted by Wolf in less than a week. There wasn't any reason or whatever, but I can't really complain since 1)I can't make a good argument to save my life and 2)they're the mods. What can you do about it?

 

It was more of a reason than some other people gave. THEIR posts are still there? I didn't break any of the rules with my actual post, so i want a justifiable reason as to why it was deleted.

 

Just drop it already.

I personally don't think Dr._wigglz wants to move on so quickly without knowing WHY they've been deleted, he should have every right to know why they were deleted not just one of them,ALL OF THEM.

 

Ok look, i don't know if anyone's realised this aside from Seasloth, but this ISN'T ABOUT ONE POST. This is about the principal! What rule was my post breaking to be deleted? I don't care about post count, i'll accept the deletion if it was a logical reason, but deleting when it didn't break a rule? No. That..it's just bull. I issue this challenge to the mods of KHV: Find what rule my original post broke, point it out. Do that, i'll accept it, drop this matter, and i'll take this stuff up via pm in future. But, please don't ignore the original suggestion of this thread.

 

She does her job and very well. Also there is a lot worse done with deleted posts. When I cleaned out the code vault I got like 200-300 posts deleted from just a few people spamming. It could be way worse and for the most part they handled it maturely.

yeah, this thread it starting to make me go against my own self. But seriously, you should just live with the fact that posts were deleted. You can't do anything about it, so you might as well continue posting and try to make them better. That was one of the main points that the AutoPM was made in the first place

 

Are you suggesting deleting my post because i am agreeing with Dr._wigglz?Hes just saying that he wants to know ALL of the reasons for deleting his posts. If you can point out that much it would be helpful hes only making a fuss because none of you are telling him any good formatiable reasons, all your saying is "calm down,its just 3 posts;get over it" I'm pretty sure none of you would want to get over it either if some of your stuff had been deleted without a good reason,And if you did your just way too laid back to do anything about it and are too afraid to go up aganist higher power.

 

If you find that your post was unfairly deleted, and/or want to retry with non-spam/longer post, then you can do so by contacting a moderator and kindly explain that you would like your post to be restored. But don't expect Mods to do it ALL the time, though. AutoPM notifies you of the fact that a post was deleted. Unfortunately we can't always see every little detail, or overlook things when deleting, but AutoPM sends a message, so you can go from there.

We can't possibly PM every member saying they should add a little bit more substance to their posts. Fortunately, AutoPM does it. If AutoPM isn't working, then you can contact an Administrator who can fix the issue. If your PM does not have a reason stated on it, you can go ahead and ask the moderator who deleted your post, since the AutoPM gets sent from the person who deleted your post.

As for your challenge...This isn't a game. If you want your post to be examined, we'll do so. But acting out like this doesn't help. I'm going to keep this thread open for a while, but once it gets enough opinions, I'll lock it.

 

hey, I resent that. Sure I'm laid back as heck, but I can most certainly go up against the higher power. I just don't feel like it because it's a waste of time and you can certainly do a lot more with your life than try and fix something that can be ignored. If there is no reason, than it's obvious. Either it didn't fit the right description for a post, or it was just spam.

Firstly, I can guarantee you you are not being targeted. AutoPM may create the illusion of such, but it is absolutely untrue. We don't delete posts based on who posted them but based on their content (or as the case may be, lack thereof).

Secondly, there was a huge push for AutoPM to be enabled and if you ask me, notifying you of something wrong with your post is what it's for. We can't be expected to PM you a warning every time we delete a post; further, I know I (and several other staff) have and will send out notifications to people if they see a lot of their posts don't have enough content. There are times in which yes, letting you know instead of just deleting it is necessary, but others that deleting the post is most efficient for both of us. We have to use our discretion to decide which of those actions to take and I'm sorry if you've felt we've made the wrong decision on that front. If so, though, moderators can see deleted posts so if you'd like your exact post given to you you can let us know after the fact and we should be able to fetch it for you.

 

Actually your more of the person i agree with since 20 of your posts you stated were deleted,yes it can be a waste of time but when it comes to real life and you get fired from your job and you do everything that was right,thats when it actually matters; but with Dr._wigglz most of his posts fit the description and had more than 6 words,i wouldn't be suprise if they changed the rules just because they probaly don't like Dr._wigglz very much nor do they like me that much.

 

My post? It was neither spam nor failed to answer the question. It's gone now, and i can't see it anymore to see what i did wrong. Nobody is TELLING me what i did wrong, so i can't figure out how to resolve this for future reference. How am i supposed to fix posts in the future if i can't see what i did wrong this time? All i want is for this thing to be a little fairer. Mods maybe take a bit more time to think about if it's really necessary to delete it? I agree with Chev for the most part. AutoPM IS a good thing..but it told me why it was deleted (which was a false reason), and didn't say how to fix it or what the original post itself was. It's a good system overall, but it screwed up this time. If it was so bad that it had to be deleted, i'd like a moderator (preferably the one who deleted it) to let me know why it was so bad. Is that so much to ask?

Seriously I understand you two may be friends and defending a friend is great but seriously it is three posts. The staff do their job and are fair with everyone despite stupid stuff that the members do. I am a prime example of that

 

aiyaiyai, it's these kinds of arguments that really get me going and people don't stop to actually think. I know, I've done it before. But whether it's 6 words or 200, whether it fits the description or not is the mods decision and you can't do anything about that. Well, you can make a complaint, but I find it a waste of time. What you're thinking right now is just because you're annoyed and your brain is coming up with excuses just so you can make an argument about something you don't like.

Two Staff members just stated nobody is being targeted. It's just your posts didn't meet the criteria needed to count as a post, if it's really bothering I'm sure there'll look into it if you ask politely. Dude, why are you talking about real life? because everyone tries to make a point using real life examples since they're more important. But they don't understand that unless your job was on the computer, it doesn't count. It's like trying to compare an Orange to an Apple, they just don't work. And that was in itself a horrible example

 

You spelled interwebz wrong but anyways it might be useless to fight with this but simply dr._wigglz just wanted to know why his post where deleted given actual reasons other than just "move on" seriously.Other than that I probaly did overlook both things from both views but all that matters is what Dr._wigglz actually suggested.
