    Honestly i've done stuff like this before over the years. Sometimes during a cutscene the mind can wander, or you want to try and go up the other path that may have loot at the end of it and you completely have no clue where to go next.

    Hell I did this kind of thing yesterday in a Vault in New Vegas! XD

    I remember this thing being more prominent years ago though.
