Friday the 13th Remake

A remake for the classic horror movie has been confirmed for an early 09 release. The movie will instead of Jason's mom being the killer, Jason will be the killer.
I'm actually excited for this film. At first I wasn't until I saw the trailer. The film actually looks good, but I'm afraid the remake will take it a lot more seriously than they original series. The film will be released February 13, 2009. Now..discuss.

I can't wait. Creepy, it's coming out Friday the 13th. I love that series. Remakes can be either suck or be really good. This looks good though.

 

The trailer makes me want to go see it, definitely. I've never seen the original Friday the 13th movies, but I think I'll go see it when it comes out.

 

Kinda creepy... I'm not a fan of horror movies, but it still looks very interesting. :)

 

Oh great another classic up for ruins, whats the point of remaking a series of films that went on for so way long it eventually lost the point. The first few of the original where great but they just didn't know when to quit.

The original was brilliant, one of the better horrors of the day before they become all sex and blood obsessed like the majority of the horrors we have now.

:/ Besides they are changing a major part of it. If they were going to remake it they should at least try to stick to the original as much as possible, like when they remade Psycho :/


I'll watch it, because I can't really judge it unless I do. Looks good, but I don't think it will do any justice to the original.​
