Because she is tired of crying
and she knows that tears lead to nothing
Another dream shattered,
Broken like her reflection,

But she wont be beaten;
She wil piece the fragments back together,
Mend her broken heart
She is tired of always crying
She is tired of falling apart

She holds her head high
She walks looking forward
She never says goodbye
And she leaves him behind
Leaves him lost in a past that she longs to escape

Trapped for so long
Held by fear
Always wanting freedom
Far away from here
She closes her eyes
She forces a smile
She knows thats shes safe

She will go down fighting
She is stronger than they know
She will survive through this
She is letting her past go
Freedom awaits​
