Over the weekend I discovered that my phone had stopped working, and would not properly start up or charge (details here). Last night, I discovered that my 2DS has suffered a similar fate: it won't turn on. At all. I can plug it in to charge, and the charging light will turn on, but the system itself won't turn on, no matter how many times I push the power button, whether it's plugged into the charger or not. I just feel like it's really strange that this would happen to my cellphone AND to my 2DS in such a short period of time.
Oh dude that sucks :C Do you have a warranty on your 2DS? You could see if you could send it into Nintendo/trade it in wherever you bought from and get a new one.
...Well, now I just feel stupid. I figured out that the 2DS wouldn't turn on becAUSE I HAD THE SLEEP MODE SWITCH ON. UGHHHH JUST KILL ME NOW
That happened with my SP. It turns out I just needed to flick the on switch in a specific way or it wouldn't turn on.
