Four

Note: Ok I sorta took some of this from Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kempucho Tou

Story: In ancient times 4 guardian beasts existed and they granted power to humans but after their disappearance humans would loose control of their powers and become monsters unless reverted to their original state through defeat or other means.

The beasts where as follows:
A golden dragon
A white tiger
A black tortoise
And a black dragon

Each one had great destructive power and soon it was revealed that when people gained powers the 4 beasts would reside in one human each. When a vessel would become the beast they would never again be human unless defeated badly or brought back by unrecorded methods.

The year is 2008. The setting is in Chicago. The dead have begun to rise, humans have begun to turn into demons and humans have started to gain power, our story starts on the night of December 1st where a group of teenagers have been hanging out at the park near the graveyard when a strange pulsating comes from the ground, the sky, the wind, the water and everywhere else…

Rules (sorry but to make this as good as possible I’ve made a lot of rules)
1. No godmodding (no being invincible, your character must have a weakness and no having unlimited use of powers)
2. No power playing (no controlling other peoples characters and certain situations, this also means no changing the story as it progresses)
3. 3 characters alive at one time for each person
4. Only 4 people can have the beasts so I’ll make it random to make it a little fair, also no going all Naruto if you have a beast
5. Also the beasts cannot communicate with the host and do not talk ever
6. Your character can be possessed by a demon later on
7. No dumb ass powers like making monsters from elements and stuff, it has to make sense.
8. No romance
9. Certificate 12 (Pg/13)
10. Have real-ish names
11. Every character has strength, speed and jumping abilities better than a normal human, also they can sense others when their not concealing themselves.
12. I may reject certain Rpers for valid reasons
13. Might add more rules.

History: After transferring from a Japanese high school a year ago Kazuki would train in secret with his Bokuto, he is an average student at school and is a usually seen on the roof of the school when not in lessons. He went to the park for a walk and encountered some people from school just as the pulsing that only they could feel started.
Power: He can create elements through his Bokuto for close range combat.
Weapon/Fighting style: Swordsmanship with a Bokuto
Personality: Quiet and very difficult to understand
Other: He has had connections with Yakuza when he lived in Japan.
Preview post: Kazuki entered the park seeing others ahead of him, he rested the Bokuto he owns on his shoulder as he walked in the same direction they where in. As he got closer his head suddenly felt dizzy as it felt as if an earthquake was below him and a tempest was right inside the park.
Preview power use: Kazuki held his Bokuto in front of him. Slowly, he ran his hand down the blade as symbols that where the same red as fire appeared when his hand moved across until it reached the end. The moment his hand move his weapon burst into flame yet was not damaging the wood of the blade. He quickly jumped forward and struck the odd man in front of him, burning the part he slashed with the blade.

Other: Her mood can swing easily.

Power: (I may ask you to change this part if it doesn’t fit) Can conrol plant life at her will and turn it into a weapon(s).
Weapon/Fighting style: (wooden martial arts training weapons are legal to be used in this) (have a real fighting style if possible) (also concealable weapons are allowed)
Her twin swords that she can create out of any plant life. (They turn into actually steel swords.)
Personality: (you don’t have to fill this part in) Gentle and mostly quiet. She is shy but when she hangs around friends she gets past her shyness.

Appearance: Wears black boots, dark blue jeans, and a dark green shirt. He has light brown hair, blue eyes, and stands at about 6 feet tall.
History: Scott has worked at a weapons shop for quite awhile, occasionally buying a weapon for himself and trying it out. He prefers to have little to do with his family. He on his break at the park when he felt the pulsating ground.
Power: Fire(although it drains a lot out of him at times)
Weapon/fighting style: Double half moon swords/Kung Fu(classic and great style)

Other: He's good at concealing his weapons...most of the time.
Preview post: Scott mumbled something under his breath when he felt something move underneath him. "Is there an earthquake...?" He asked himself, looking at the others at the park.

History: Hiro never fit-in with anyone at all except himself and a few friends. He was mostly found alone with a dog he never knew or with some close friends that never left him really, when he was at lunch or at school, and was always waiting for him. He spent most of his time at the park after school with his friends and the dog, but the dog wasn't there today at the time when the pulses began to go off.

Power: He controls wind and the temperature of that wind through his Katana at any ranged combat-zone (Cold, warm, and/or hot to his choosing).

Weapon/Fighting style: Katana, Bushido.

Personality: Soldier-like (human emotions and what-not)

Other: Keeps his powers hidden...mostly.

Preview post: He looked at the others as he felt the pulses under his feet "Do you guys feel that?!" he asked, surprised by their faces.

Preview power use: Hiro held his Katana near the mans neck as the wind around it became as cold as ice. "Leave, never return to earth, allow me to live my life...as all others should live theirs." he said coldly towards him and in the end, he slashed at the mans throat, making a clean slice where the blood should have been on his blade.

History: He and his parents got into a fight over his grades. He finally ran out of the house, and headed to the Park.
Power: The ability to create and control water.

He takes Riku's stance. He likes to Attack with Swordsmanship and Magic together.
Personality: He's a Angry person when he wants to be but he always Nice Guy.
Other: He feels more Relaxed and Nicer near to Bodies of Water

Preview power use: Jordan got into his stance (Riku's) He slashed at the Demons while Water Slashed them also. He than Washed them away with a Blast of Water.

History: Momoko was usually a quiet girl at school until she started to draw. She 's been bullied a lot when she was young so she never really talks to people unless they speak to her. She didn't have many friends and just so happened to be at the park when the pulsing began to occur...

Weapon/Fighting style: Crossbow
Personality: Quiet, loves to draw when she's bored, protective of friends.
Other: srry i've got a ton of assignments and i cant think of much for history XD

History: He lived in Las Vegas, Nevada. His father got a job in Chicago, so they moved there. He had been walking home from a soccer game and decided to pay a visit to his mother's grave, in the cemetary. That's when things began to happen.
Power: Augmenting Weapons using his own energy.
Weapon/Fighting style: Karambit (Uses Knives, Pictures of them in appearance) , Bartitsu if he has a long pole.
Personality: He's kind of sarcastic, but loves to make friends. Not overly suspicous.
Other: Dodge wears a charm given to him by a close childhood friend.
Preview post: Demian faced the man, his two knives gripped in his fist. "Come and get me!" He said angrily. The man came at him, launching a punch. It struck Demian in the stomach, but he recoiled with two slashes to the face, one across the nose, and one to the throat. He sucked in the breath he lost from the punch, seeing his opponent bleed out on the floor. "I....told you...not to touch her."
Preview power use: Demian waved his hand over a wooden pole, over and over. "It's ready, Kaine." He said, handing the pole to his partner. His partner swung it to the ground, but it didn't even snap. "It works!" Dodge said happily. "Now try the other thing." He said, motioning towards a small tree. Kaine swung the pole, a shockwave flying out for about a meter, cutting the tree down. "Awesome!" Kaine said, impressed.

I'll start now:

The ground shook as the group of teenagers stood unaware of what was happening, markings appeared up from their hearts and reached their eyes. They where given powers by the 4 beasts.

Kazuki looked around after the pulsing stopped, "What was that?" he asked but more so to himself. The sound of groaning could be heard from not to far away.

 

Hiro looked around, wondering if what he saw wasn't true. "Ngh...okaay? What the heck was that all about?" he asked, only to hear groaning, not very far away, but from where he was standing.

 

Kazuki heard the sound coming east, the direction of the graveyard. Thoughts of the living dead flashed through his mind before he dismissed them, Don't think like that.

 

Hiro looked to the west, but he didn't let it bother him "Daugh...I gotta get my head in the game." he said with his eyes closed, the tip of his middle finger touching his forehead, and smiled as he sat on the ground.

OOC: So, do they have their weapons on them right now?

 

OOC: Er if your character always carries one then yeah

BIC: Kazuki walked over to a small hill and looked over the shortish distance to the fence of the park where the graveyard started. To his surprise his thoughts turned out to be right, the dead where coming out of the ground and towards the park.

 

OOC: My guy left his at home...irony is not his best policy.

IC: Hiro got up and went to look at the west of the other side of the park, apparently he heard groanings come from people "Okaay?" he said confused as to why every man, woman, and child acted like that. This can't be a game... he thought.

 

Norah looked up from her sketchbook as the ground started to shake. She was sitting sideways on one of the park benches. She put down the sketchbook and looked around frantically at the people in the park. Her eyes stopped on the graveyard. What the crap?! There were.... things coming out of the graveyard. She hugged her knees to her chin. Wake up... wake up.... she thought to herself. Maybe this is Candid Camera, or something....

 

Kazuki took his Bokuto out of his bag like sheath, "This can't be real, but if it is i'm not getting eaten", he said waiting for the zombies as they started to manouver around and over the gate between the park and the graveyard.

 

She dug her fingernails into her arm to try to make herself wake up. But she wasn't dreaming. She looked back at the graveyard, there were still previously dead people coming out of it. She could see a perfectly alive person climbing over the gate between the park and the graveyard. She couldn't see who it was, though. Is... is that a sword? She stood up on the bench to get a better look.

 

Out of confusion Kazuki paniced and did what his instincts told him. He ran towards the zombies and started to hack at them with his wooden bladed weapon, it was keeping them from hitting him but it seemed to just knock them about without propperly hurting them.

 

OOC: I gotta go, so I'm not gonna get into anything too big......
