The Andaran PRince merely listened to what was being said and watched the odd robed figure walk away, laughing at Kala's words. Zahariel couldn't care less about the words of lesser beings. Kala was right though, whatever he was he didn't know, but from that act he was clearly full of himself. Kala started laughing as she had discovered a new emotion, not that Varaki knew this, but she clearly seemed to be happy about something. She then started to label the others, including himself with rather unusual labels, clear evidence of her claim that she hadn't been around people for a long time. "I am quiet for there was nothing for me to say, Kala."

The Lancer had been quiet as well, he had been offered quarters to stay in, but refused them as he didn't like to be elevated above the others simply because of his position, it wasn't the Andaran way, but he couldn't really expect them to know that. He had his suspicions as to what Kala was, but he couldn't be sure, nor was he sure if he should be dragging the Andaran Highlands into this war that wasn't theirs and figured he'd ask about the Shard's faction "Say, sir Lancer, who was that... man.. he didn't seem to be a very pleasant person... and what can you tell me about the Shard Ideology?" He asked Reitan in a respectful tone, Kala clung close to Timothy but that wasn't anything unusual so he didn't pay too much attention to it.

A simple shrug was made as a first response to the Prince's words. He knew that his weapon of choice had some disadvantages, especially against other weapons, but for the most part he'd managed to work past said disadvantages and handle himself well. "Long story short, my teacher was a lance user and thus wanted me to use the same weapon as him. I have tried out other weapons, but this seems to suit me the best." Then Kala had called him quiet, which was true for the most part. "It's just something that I've gotten used to being." There really wasn't much else of a reason behind it.

Zahariel had started to walk off back to his quarters as the prince asked him about him.
"Zahariel's one of the exceptions I mentioned earlier." Though compared to the one he had in mind at first, he's the lesser of two evils. "He means well, least I assume he does." Kinda hard to tell with that guy. As for their ideology, he hadn't really paid much attention to it. "Well we're a bunch of misfits with a common goal/enemy so I'm not sure if we share the same ideology, but we likely want the same end results to some extent."

Hopefully that would be a sufficient answer to his questions. He looked to Kala, who was sticking close to Timothy.
"You can use my jacket if you want." He unzipped it and took it off, before holding it out towards her. Reitan didn't really mind giving away his jacket since he had on a shirt under it anyway.

"No more beautiful than watching me at work." That was also to say, not at all. "You're in the army, your date can wait as long as it takes." People going on dates in wartime... Honestly. He listened intently to what Jayce was saying. Intercepting a prisoner transfer likely wasn't going to be a problem. The interrogation was probably going to be easy as well. Teliana's eyes, as she had perfectly identified, would be useful.

Jaden waited for CAL TO GODDAMNED POST ALREADY BY THE NINE DIVINES OR WHATEVER DEITY YOU CHOOSE!

The captain did nothing, satisfied to watch everything happening and taking notes on who the new recruits were. The interrogation sure was taking a while. He wondered what OR WHO was holding it up.

Teliana wanted to, and did, facepalm at Kalak's response. "Men." She muttered, raising her head back up to look at the three people who had just filed into the room. The musical soldiers, and Veera, who looked less then pleased. Ana raised an eyebrow, but kept her comments to herself. Veera was a little too obsessed with family and pack and belonging for her taste.

"So, can we get going?" Teliana turned back to
Kalak and Jayce, stretching her arms above her head before crossing them in front of her chest. "Just because some people don't have a decent sex life, doesn't mean that I want mine to suffer."

Veera for the most part ignored those around her and drifted towards an unoccupied wall that she could lean against, broodingly. She didn't really have much to say to anyone, and Alpha's words were keeping most of her thoughts busy.

Kala hesitantly took the jacket, pulling it on beneath her cloak while revealing as little of her skin as possible. She zipped it up, the sleeves dropping well past her fingers and the hem of the jacket itself falling to her thighs. Still, it covered what it needed to, and she smiled sweetly before holding out a hand, covered by a drooping sleeve. "Thank you." She said, taking Reitan's hand and shaking it. Which was not the easiest action to manage with the sleeve covering her hand, but she did the best she could. "You can be the giving one, now. And he can still be quiet." She motioned towards the Andarran Prince.

"So who's our enemy? I don't think I have any enemies. Maybe the sun, but that's only because it burns my skin after a while. The rain is cold, and wet, but that can be fun." She frowned, tapping her sleeve covered hands together as the hood of her cloak fell back. "That woman was kind of scary, wasn't she?" She murmured, eyes darkening for a moment.

"No need, I'm here Jayce" Ashleigh stated as she strode into the room. Anthem and Requiem immediately moved to her side loyally. She stood with much more authority and confidence now than she had during the argument with Jayce, in fact, she looked at her cousin as if nothing had happened. "So, a mission? Exciting" she stated expressionlessly, something in her voice indicated it was far from exciting "Where are we going, what's our objectives, and who's accompanying me? If I may, I'd like to request the presence of Veera" she glanced over at the other woman appraisingly

Timothy stood by passively as everything happened, Kala didn't seem to be in any immediate danger. He wished he could make clothes for her as she requested, but he didn't have any cloth on him. As soon as he found some wool he would start knitting a cardigan for her. "If my memory banks are correct, Ms Kala, the enemy of the Shards of Hope is the Order of the Hammer, the faction that woman belonged to. And be not afraid, Ms Kala, I will protect you from all threats"

Ransak had finally arrived in the Shard's camp. He scurried around, hunched, as he carried his sack of valuable items, which included two new additions. He approached a man who seemed like some kind of CAPTAIN or something, he seemed important.
"Hey" Ransak greeted "Sir? Sergeant? Captain? Captain. I can tell by your reaction" his eyes darted around the camp at the many bustling figures, then pointed to himself "Ransak Frisk. Trader. Scavenger. I've obtained some items. Valuable items to the Shards. Stolen from the Hammers. Very Valuable"

'Don't ruin the surprise for everyone.' someone had said. Really there was not much to say to the girl. The girl agreed that the shards had some sort of trap most likely. 'They're a bunch of heretics who've got their hands on some powerful technology and allies.' Jayce had said. This was most interesting. There was a wounded Ancient God. Jayce had said not to worry about. They had to consider every possible outcome. 'Nothing appears to be out of the ordinary. Standard transfer, probably to a more secure facility.' "Anyone can make a transfer look standard. This maybe what the shards are trying to do." She might be looking to far into it, but her want to think of it all. Really they had to think of every option. She turned and headed towards the docking bay.

Onamakritos looked at Jaden with a cold expression, though the corners of his mouth twitched. He didn't want to express the extreme amount of excitement and fulfillment. "I do as you command."

His hand touched her skin, running his fingers gently down her hand before the fire slowly started in his finger tips, until it engulf his own wrist. Worse then a hot iron, his touch would be gentle if not for the fire. He looked into Roses eyes, his cold stare having an eerie light within them. The eyes of someone who enjoyed torture, who liked to play with his food. If his poor sister could see this girl now, pathetic even to the touch. He gave her a calming smile. He wouldn't let her see the craze look he hid inside of him. Instead, his expression was calm, though not uncaring, almost sincere in a way. The expression he would have conversing with a friend.

    Magic was his only friend.

He knew when it was time to let go. He hoped that she would struggle more, in other to get Jaden to do it again. He hadn't overdone it, just as Jaden wanted. He looked at Jaden, nodding calmly again, making it look like no big deal for him.

It was blood he wanted, and blood he saw.

    In all its glory.

Jayce debated criticizing Teliana's sex life, knowing full well that as a Demi God, he got more action than her in five minutes than she did in an entire year oh god he'd wasted his life. Thankfully, he was saved by the timely arrival of his cousin. Perhaps the first time he was actually happy to see her.

"Where are we going, what's our objectives, and who's accompanying me? If I may, I'd like to request the presence of Veera"

"I'm sure she'll be happy to join you," Jayce nodded, "you two will be targeting a small Shard outpost. Just to keep our enemy on their toes and to free up some of the nearby area. Wipe them out, capture their officers and find out what you can about the main base of operations they have in the area. If either your group or Kalak's can discover its location, we'll strike quite the blow against them."

Demands were thrown once again, and once again Rose responded with only a smug smile. She wasn't going to tell them crap. She didn't care what they did to her because they would keep her alive as long as it took to get the information. By the time that would ever happen she will have escaped or Jayce will have shown up to rescue her. She was one of his best, in more ways than one, he wouldn't let her go that easily. All she had to do was wait it out, no matter what they did to her.

That being said what came next did cause a fair amount of pain. It had started with just a light touch, but even that made her slightly uncomfortable. The touch though quickly grew hotter until she could feel her skin searing from it. Tears formed in the corner of Rose's eyes but she still wore a smug smile. He seemed calm but Rose knew better than to judge on appearances. He was probably enjoying this far too much, so she was not going to give him the pleasure of seeing her pain. She smirked at him and taunted him with her eyes. Challenging him to go past
Jayden's orders. She would love to see the man get into trouble for taking things a step too far.

When the heat stopped she dropped her grin and made her face neutral. Her hand still burned and ached from the heat, but she pushed the pain to the back of her mind for the time being as she looked
Jayden straight in the eye. "Bite me." Was all she said as she waited for the next wave of pain.

"I see. You're defiant. You don't fear pain or death, do you?" Jaden asked, watching it happen with his hands behind his back. He derived no pleasure from it, nor did he feel particularly disgusted. He just didn't care. She was an enemy agent and it was a means to an end. What none of them knew was what happened here didn't matter anyway. Now that they had her, she was already factored into the plan. "No matter, we'll elicit the truth from you in other ways. Onamakritos -" He was about to give further orders but then the cell door opened and an officer ran in, panting heavily.
"Sir, insurrection on the Western Front!" The soldier reported. He whirled around.
"Where?" He had to hide his smile.
"Barthal, sir!" The soldier had snapped to attention to deliver his report.
"How irritating, the citadel." At that moment, he realised where he was. "Follow me soldier, this isn't the place to discuss this. Carissa, take the so-called Black Rose to the transport depot. I've already made arrangements for her transfer to our main prison facility. Take a team, I'll make some additions and changes as I see fit, - You're making sure that she gets there."
"Yes, Inheritor!" Carissa saluted as Jaden left the room with the officer. An insurrection was bad news, it meant that there was an Order presence that would need to be dealt with as soon as possible. "Aster, you're in charge of holding her chains. Onamakritos, you're with me. If they attempt a rescue, they may send a Demi-God and we need your flames. I'll wait to see who else we're assigned." She turned on a heel and left, expecting the others to follow her. She led them towards the transport depot where a trio of secure armoured transports.
"Aster, pick one and put her in there. It looks like we're using decoys."

As Jaden returned to his office having already congratulated the officer on his work, he saw something going on in his Captain's office. There appeared to be a group of new people that were having some sort of discussion. Folding his hands behind his back, he entered through the open door. A robot, someone wearing only a jacket for clothes, Reitan and someone who looked Andaran. Someone from the Highlands? They've been neutral so far. Interesting.
"I assume we have new recruits then, Captain?" He spoke. Immediately, the Captain and everyone in the vicinity snapped to attention.
"Yes, Inheritor." He nodded. "Other than the Andaran prince, who is here for his own reasons. You will want to speak to him sir."
"Very well. Find the woman some clothes, we can have her sized at the Quartermaster by a female member of staff so she's comfortable. We're accommodating. Then dispatch her and the construct to Carissa's team. You're going with her too Reitan." Jaden ordered. "Prince of Andar, kindly follow me. We will discuss matters in my office." He started to walk out of the room, and then stopped.
"And Captain, send someone to wrangle Zahariel. Tell them to tell him that if he's being difficult then I'm slashing the research group's budget on his personal matter for a month. Feel free to send someone you don't like." Jaden returned to his office down the corridor and sat down at his desk. Someone had placed another report on his desk. A breakthrough on AVENGER? His eyes glinted and a wicked grin crossed his face. They were going to be able to take the fight to the Demi-Gods on a whole new level soon...

Meanwhile, in the camp the Captain on duty was on patrol when someone approached him at the gate. He was a shifty looking character by all rights. He didn't trust the man as far as he could throw him, however what he said was most interesting.

"I see. Follow me. We'll see what you're offering." He led Ransak to a heavily reinforced building near the entrance of the camp. Inside, it was a plain room with a large table. The doors were just as heavily reinforced. "Please relax as best you can. This building is highly reinforced in case someone in the guise of a trader comes in with explosives. If you've been referred here, then what you have must be highly valuable. Now then, what is it that you wish to sell to us?"

"I heard that Teliana." Kalak smirked. "You're probably right in that regard Sophia. Jaden is known for his strategies. It's a good thing that Jayce is recovering, otherwise he'd probably fall straight into the trap." He was raring to go now. Vasher was calling out for blood.
"Let's go. Send my regards to Ashleigh for me Jayce." He was going to call her en route to figure out what was going on with that little strop of hers earlier. He led them to the shuttle in the bay and got on board. "Is everyone ready?"

"The Prince was angry that he had been stopped, but there was more bloodshed to be found as he followed Carissa to the transport depot. How he would love to fry a Demi-God."

Onamakritos nodded to Carissa. "As you order." He kept his distance from her as they both walked to the transport depot. He seemed suspicious of Aster, as this was still his sister and it could be possible that he didn't hate her as much as he said. He thought about his own sister. If she ended up on the wrong side, would he be able to do what Aster was doing now? He didn't know. He truly, didn't know.

It started with a whisper on her 21st birthday.

    "Aidan"

It was the destiny of the firstborn daughter - The Calxiyn - to later in life take on the Spirit of The Remnant. Calxiyn felt the pain of The Remnant. It was an endless cycle, of living her life, dying during childbirth and then going into the spirit of that child to only live again. It was agony to live for so many years without the one that you had loved so dearly. It was torturous. And the torture, the grief, had made The Remnant very angry. Calxiyn had asked her father about how her mother handled The Remnant, and he said that her mother was very peaceful. But now, The Remnant knew what was going on with the War between the Shards of Hope, and The Order of the Hammer. And it was a fury. She was also dissatisfied with the choice of host. This girl was brash, entitled, and arrogant. But it didn't matter. The Remnant was dominate in her now. She would guide her in the right directions.

And now her plan was simple: To claim the right to the Shards of Hope. Calxiyn had the blood of The Remnant and Aidan's child. How she could prove she was closer in bloodline, she wasn't sure. But despite Calxiyn's protest, The Remnant had forced her to pack her bags, and fly using a Keyblade Gilder out of her Kingdom, and out into the outside world.

Finding her brother hadn't been easy for Calxiyn. She had to go off the vibrations she got whenever he wrote in the journal he kept. She was frightened at the bloodshed he enjoyed, but at least she knew roughly what was happening, and he was safe. That was the most important thing to her. She had arrived at the Gate, and got off the Gilder.

(According to Al there are guards here, or something)

She saluted the guards at the gate. "Hello! I am Princess Calxiyn Masutāzu The 5th and I'm looking for my brother, Onamakritos. He's in there somewhere. I'm coming to see your Leader so I can join and assist you with my worldly desired powers." She smiled at them.

The Remnant could be heard by Calxiyn, sighing heavily. Her introduction would have been lively and enduring, reminding her of herself when she had joined Xanatos' team. But instead, the last part of her business statement bothered her. She didn't want to take control of her yet and waste all of her power, but she could at least try to reason with the girl. But she didn't. Instead, she thought to herself that this girl had the mind of a 16 year old in a 21 year olds body, and was not fit to talk to anyone of power.

Theodosia narrowed her eyes at Jayce. "With all do respect, Commander. You're going to fall asleep at the controls if you continue like this. Let me take over things for now and you can rest. You know that I won't let you down." Theodosia requested. "Or at least, I'll shake you awake as the ship explodes."

He watched as Onamakritos burn the hand of the rose. Nothing seemed to be happening. The rose said nothing at all that would be helpful and anyone could see that she was not going to give up any information. 'You don't fear pain or death, do you?' Jaden had said. No one was going to get her to talk. They had to be smart and lets face it the shards were anything but that. Carissa and Jaden said something was going on at the citadel. Really it had something to do with the hammer for sure. Carissa and Jaden went of to go do something leaving him be. He had nothing to do but wonder. It looked like he was going to have to do a request. He found the right paper work and filled it out. He sent it out as quickly as possible and it would reach the desk of both Carissa and Jaden. He had sent a request to see one of them, but he sent it to both only because it would be faster. He wondered the halls and reached his privet room walking in shutting the door behind him and sat on the bed. Things had changed and he was not sure it was a good thing. He was not sure what he could do about it but the opportunity would show up at some point he was sure. All he had to do now was wait it out.

Kalak had said something about probably being right about something. 'Jaden is known for his strategies. It's a good thing that Jayce is recovering, otherwise he'd probably fall straight into the trap.' She did not know what to say to this. Demi-gods could be trapped who knew. "Ready as I will ever be"

"Well I would be a hypocrite if I feared what I served out so very often, wouldn't I? We can't have that. So no death nor pain scare me, you will have to come up with a more creative way if you want to get me talking." Rose replied. No matter the pain she would still keep sight of herself, still talk back all she liked. She didn't much care what they threw her way, she believed that she had the ability to endure it.

    It sounded like
Jaden was about to give another order when he was interrupted. Rose did her best to listen in on what was being said, however not too much was spoken of in front of her. At least they had some shred of inelegance, though he still gave the order to move her, and Rose questioned the inelegance of that. Currently they were in a place she was pretty sure the demi-gods were unaware of, and they were to move her to a place they knew of. On top of that transport was always the easiest time for rescue. Rose wasn't going to complain of course, but she did wonder how the Shards of Hope managed to survive so long.

Aster had watched as his sister was tortured for information. As he expected she stayed strong through it, and even had the guts to talk back at the end. She had always been that way, she didn't know when it was time to give in. As kids no matter how much he tormented her she refused to cry or tell their parents, that was why he was the good child. She would retaliate, and Aster had no problems being that person and telling on her. By the end of this her stubbornness would get her killed. That being said he doubted he could let it get that far, and if he did he would probably force himself to leave the room. He might not like his sister, but they shared a womb together, he couldn't stand there and watch her die.

With orders given, Aster approached his sister and took up the chains that bound her.
"Guess what they say is true, you really are a b*tch. You have a leash and everything." He taunted his sister with a smile before giving her a sharp tug causing her to stumble a bit before she had a chance to try to attack him. That being said, with the amount of chains they now had attached to her, she would have a hard time attacking in the first place.

Surprisingly Rose did not struggle too much as Aster lead her to the transport depot. Once there he was told to choose a transport to put her in. The middle one would be too obvious so he chose the left most one. He forced her in before shutting the door and standing outside waiting for
Carissa's further orders. He hoped that she wouldn't make him sit with Rose in the vehicle, that would be a hellish trip.

"Ah I see, a man and his weapon should be one if they are to reach their full potential, when the weapon doesn't suit one well they are not two parts of a whole. I understand now." The prince told Reitan, this teaching was particularly true for melee weapons like the lance, it had to become a part of the body. He had read of Andaran swordsmen training extensively to master their blades in times long since past. He listened to the explanation about Zahariel and made a note of it. Paying heed to the warning of him being one of the less pleasant people to deal with among the shards. "That seems fair enough, sir Lancer." The Prince remarked at the explanation about the ideology, after all everyone was here with their own reasons, he imself included.

His attention was diverted to a man who came walking down the hallway, he seemed to be a figure of authority. He didn't even hear Kala's remark regarding him still being the quiet one and Reitan being the giving one. The figure of authority joined them and requested his presence. He assumed this was the aforementioned Inheritor and before he left, he turned to Kala and Timothy "I guess this is where our paths part once more, until we may meet again. Miss Kala, Construct" He said bowing his head a little, as was a custom. 'This may be the last time you will see me...' He didn't say it out loud and just kept those words to himself, not that he had much tying him to these two individuals. But after all he had been drawn to the girl initially, but he had now done all that the code asked of him to help those who needed it. He followed the Inheritor towards the office.

The words of the girl had amused him as he walked back to his quarters. He hadn't the door and placed the sword on the pedestal again as he knelt down by an icon with a pair of lit candles in front of it. It was an elaborate carving of hooded figures much like himself standing watch over creation. The standard of the Custodians, a beautiful relic of a lost age. There was a knock on the door and then it was opened, the Ancient God remained sitting as he did.

    "
The Inheritor would like to speak with you, Lord Zahariel" The soldier, evidently scared said, his voice trembling. The ancient being didn't move. "Uhm, Lo-" "I heard you, Griff. I am meditating right now, come back later when I'm not busy." The soldier remained standing within his room. "Uhm, the Inheritor said-" The Ancient god stood up from his meditating and looked at the soldier "He said what, Griff? Go on, I'm listening....." The soldier jumped backwards as the ancient god was clearly irritated at being interrupted. The soldier swallowed and took a moment to gather his thoughts, the God stood as if to say I'm waiting. "The Inheritor said that if you wouldn't come, he'd divert the resources from your research elsewhere...." The soldier waited as Zahariel purposfully kept quiet just to make the soldier more nervous. "Little does he realise that limiting my research and therefor my effectiveness will also be deterimental to the entire shard cause. I have more than enough time, I've had millenia behind me one month in the grans scheme of things hardly matters. I think, Griff, you should go tell him that and while you are at it, tell him I'll be along shortly" The God said sending the soldier back to the Inheritor.

"You were supposed to, Kalak." Teliana resisted the urge to facepalm yet again, narrowing her eyes at Sophia before raising her hand in farewell as she turned and walked out, following Kalak out of the room. "Don't get your hopes too high, Jayce." She called back, letting the hand wave a little before dropping it. "Disappointment stunts the healing process, or so I've heard. Wouldn't want your sex life to suffer." She thought about pointing out to Kalak that Ashleigh was in fact, right there, but there was a better way to handle things.

    "
Kalak sends his regards." she told Ashleigh as she walked by, barely concealing a grin. She strolled past Kalak onto the ship, winking at him as she walked by. "Ashleigh said hi." Regardless if the woman said so or not, the reaction was all she ever needed.

Veera glanced up, her eyes narrowing at the sound of her name. To be honest, she had been listening to the whisperings of Alpha in her ear, and hadn't been paying much attention to the proceedings at all. Why do you want me? You don't sound like you care. Veera lifted her head a little more, analyzing Ashleigh as the woman appraised her in return.

    She sighed as
Jayce volunteered her for the position, and stood up straight, letting her arms drop to her sides. "You shouldn't let him push you around so much. You're just a piece of meat to him. A wolf so low he doesn't care what happens. You're Ashleigh's shield, and what is she to you?" Veera shrugged inwardly, her mouth twisting before she replied, "I'll do my best." She walked to Ashleigh's side, standing behind Requiem and Anthem. Which of course, only gave Alpha more fodder.

"You're even less important then the wolves with no song. You. Are. Nothing."
We're going to fight soon, isn't that good enough? She replied curtly, her face blank of any emotion or sign of the inner battle that blazed. Alpha grumbled, but quieted, momentarily appeased with the taste of bloodlust.

Kala smiled at Timothy, patting his elbow gently. "You're a good friend, Timothy." She whirled as Jaden entered, eyes widening in surprise and a little bit of fear. The way he spoke....she pressed her hands to her mouth avoid making any sound until the commanding man was gone before letting her fingers drop. "But no one can touch me." She whispered, her eyes terrified as she stared at the people in the tent. "No one."

She waved a little to the
Andaran Prince, a shy smile on her lips. "Bye Quiet One." She said, tilting her head as her chest hurt, just a tiny bit. What was that about? She shrugged, then remembered that she had been scared. Because her secret would be found out. "Don't touch me, okay?" She asked Reitan, pressing the sleeves together where her hands were located. "And don't let them touch me. I'll just wear this. It's great!" She raised her arms, and then dropped them when the jacket nearly revealed...things.

"But it's okay. Really. Let's not listen to the
    scary man. Right Timothy?"

When the Andaran Prince entered, the Inheritor gestured for him to take a seat. He set down the report he was reading and the door was closed behind the man. Jaden stood up and offered a hand across the table.
"Greetings to you, Prince of the Andaran Highlands. I'm afraid I don't know your name, so you'll have to introduce yourself. My name is Inheritor Jaden Samarost, leader of the Shards of Hope and current Regent of Sarn." He explained. With the introductions done, he took a seat again and resumed talking. "I understand that you have come here for a reason, though it is unknown to me. I thought that the Highlands decided to remain neutral in this conflict?" An officer came in with another report. Another planned attack? Very well... I have Zahariel spare and David unassigned. I'll send them to handle it. Somebody else then walked in. Jaden rolled his eyes. Grif, from Zahariel's division.
"Go back to him and tell Zahariel that he's being deployed soon with David. They're dealing with an offensive. I imagine that it'll be led by a Demi-God." Jaden ordered, gesturing the soldier out of the room. The phone on his desk rang and he sighed. "Apologies, I have to take this call." There was somebody at the gate apparently. Someone that called themselves a princess. They had the same name as Onamakritos. Ah, the troublesome sister has arrived.
"Tell her that I'm talking to a prince at the moment and that she is going to have to wait. Thank you soldier." He sighed emphatically. "Once again, apologies. Now, where were we?" He looked at another report that he was given. David filled this entire thing out so soon? What is it that he wants? I'll read the document and deal with him when he comes back.

The captain in the room listened in on what people were saying. It seemed that their new recruit who came without the clothes whose name appeared to be Kala did not quite understand authority. He cleared his throat.
"Ms. Kala, I believe you misunderstood. You have joined the Shards of Hope. This means that you follow orders. What the Inheritor said was not a suggestion. It was a command." He pointed out. "I promise you, the process is not invasive and we are simply giving you clothes. Something that you appear to be lacking in at the moment." He concluded the sentence pointedly.

"Princess I do not know where you brother is. Allow me to call the Inheritor to see if he will see you now." The current guard on duty explained. He was merely a sergeant, because they were running out of captains of the guard at the moment. He called, and the typically frosty response of Jaden Samarost came down the line. He grimaced. People of authority tended to respond badly to this. "Your highness, the Inheritor is talking to a prince right now. You may go to the command building and await him outside his office when he will be able to speak. As I understand, he will see you as soon as he can."

Summary of where people need to be:
    Reitan - With Carissa
Kala and Timothy - With Carissa
When you guys are all in position we can get the missions started. We've waited long enough here.

    Zahariel - Please fetch David
David - Needs to be fetched
Once fetched, Zahariel and David can be deployed.

"Very well. We'll need to wait here a while for anyone that Jaden is deploying with us to arrive." Carissa stated after Rose was transferred into one of the armoured transport vans. A squad of troops entered each in preparation for them to move out. "What's with you and that journal Onamakritos? You're always writing in it."

"Oh good, sounds like she might have calmed down from earlier then. If she hadn't, she'd have said something much icier and probably wittier than that." Kalak commented, folding his arms.

Onamakritos turned to Carissa. "In my Kingdom, Calxiyn wrote a legendary journal of all her adventures and experiences. Narcissism probably had a part to play." He laughed, but it was cold and detached. He hated thinking about this. How he wasn't supposed to exist. "So we are also required to keep one, a journal of sorts. At least, the Calxiyn at any given time is supposed to be. But they suggested I do the same, as if they believe that my existance means something to them." He crossed his arms bitterly, before continuing with a casual shrug. "But it's also useful because my sister is able to see what I've written psychically. Which means if I end up dying in the battle my final words will be brought back to my Kingdom. But to her, she would just like to see what I'm up to I suppose."

    She nodded with a smile.
"Okie Dokie. Thank you very much." She then made her way to wait for Jaden. But she knew that she wouldn't be able to talk to Jaden on her own. She knew that there was a higher purpose for her. She would have to give over her control. She didn't have a choice.

The Remnant was getting ready to replace her host as soon as she saw the Leader of The Shards of Hope. She didn't know how long the inexperienced girl could handle having her take control of her in such an extreme. But she had to be able to match wits with Aidan's blood. She had waited 100 years, and through all of her other lives she knew how. But those other lives brought her the greatest pain. Pain that turned into rage, and rage for Aidan. Her host's smile disappeared, and her deminor changed to a serious one. One of a Queen, of a true leader. It was this cold yet animated look she would give Jaden when she saw him. She would know him when she saw him

"Calxiyn? Huh, interesting." She knew the name. It dated back to the days of her practically sainted several times great grandfather. "That's a pretty useful ability. Assuming of course, that someone isn't writing for you and puts down a lot of useless or misleading information." If that happens, his last words may never be truly recorded. A good forger would be able to dupe his style of writing and tell Calxiyn whatever she wanted. Wait, that raised another question. How was anything to do with Calxiyn possible? She was supposed to be dead. There was no way that she could have survived this long.
"Not sure how Calxiyn could have lived this long though. She was active at the time of Aidan, she must be dead." Only a Demi-God could have survived that long, or some other immortal creature. We know from Aidan's writing that she was none of these things. Other than wielding some strange weaponry that harnessed the power of the light, there was nothing overly unusual about her. "Either way, if you don't get to, I'll make sure to write in that book to your sister. It saves us the budget telling her that you're dead."

"Okie dokie...?" The sergeant muttered as he watched her go. That was not the normal sort of response to be expected from a Princess. He thought that they'd all be haughty and up their own backsides, but she was talking like a 12 year old. She must have been over 18 at least. "Damn foreign girls, don't make any sense. Princess or not." He leaned against the wall and watched the gate. He wished something interested happen. He drew out his sword and swung it a couple of times. Swish, swish stab! Yeah! Come on, bring it Hammers! They'd have no idea what they were up against, facing him. He could probably even take that Black Rose chick. He heard that she'd been captured. Couldn't have been much of an assassin if the silly bint had been caught.

Onamakritos had an icy expression "Our people believe that Calxiyn, The Revenant, the one that Aidan knew was chosen by The Keyblade, and the Heaven that it came from. When The Revenant had her first child, and she died in childbirth, they believed that the daughter had The Revenants soul. From then on the cycle continues. The Revenant keeps giving birth to "her daughter", and is dormant in th child, until the child is recognized as the next in line for the throne. My sister is the 5th Calxiyn. Past Calxiyns have reported having her memories, or even hearing The Revenant in their head. She seems to be passive, almost a guidence. I don't know how she'll be with my sister." His voice trailed off. And then he spoke to Carissa in a normal tone, though you could see he was aggravated by this conversation. It was a grim reminder. "What I tried to drill into your brothers head was this: My sister has the blood of Aidan's child. Directly. She is half Aidan and half The Revenant, not mixed with anyone down the line."

He paused. "But I didn't come here to talk about family politics, I came here for the glory of war"

The Andaran Prince followed the Inheritor to his office taking the offered seat. "
I am Varraki Andar, son of Sikandar Aesar Andar, honoured be his name, regent of the sovereign Andaran Highlands." The Prince introduced himself. He would have prefered to sit on the ground with some cushions, the way he did at home to discuss these matters over a cup of apple tea, but alas. "You are indeed correct in the claim of us wanting to remain neutral in this conflict and I appreciate it that you do not infringe our sovereignty. The same couldn't be said about the Order of the Hammer." The Prince said only to be interrupted by an officer and a soldier coming in, each with their individual reasons. "The reason I am here is merely me doing my duty as the Prince of Andar, following this, I came across an odd pairing, the girl and the Construct. I aided them once again and they requested to know where they could enlist with the Shards, as ruler of the Highlands I keep track of movements of troops near my lands and accompanied them to the camp, where the assumption was made I came to join you, I never said so otherwise, after all the girl seemed rather out of touch with her emotions and I didn't want to risk abandoning them, though in hindsight she appears to have taken it well. My presence here is all a misunderstanding." He had strayed from the path he had set out on when he left his home in the mountain Citadel of Dagath, but he'd hear the Inheritor out for now.

Grif returned to the Ancient god as the god was just leaving to see the Inheritor. "Lord Zahariel" The soldier greeted "The Inheritor has requested you go find Hammerhead and then set out to the front." The god sighed, wouldn't the Inheritor just hurry up and make up his mind already. "Very well, I'll go find Hammerhead. And Grif, those names are only used within our division and to me, got it?" Grif nodded "Got it, sir" The soldier seemed to have shaped up a little from his walk. "Good, now go to Commander Astelan tell him to prepare the ironwing for deployment." The soldier nodded and turned walking away. "And Grif, next time you knock, you wait till I open the door or call you in." The same fear played across the soldiers face again as he acknowledged the instruction and scurried away to his CO. Now to go find David so they could get going out there into the field, now where to find the bugger....

"So they've been making incursions against you? What have they been doing?" Jaden inquired, raising an eyebrow. "I apologise for my men making assumptions. In any case, I realise that you are neutral but I still offer you the option of joining us." He set his hands down on the table and looked at the Prince. He could tell a lot about a man by his appearance, and he made use of his ability to judge.
"I see that you are not only a prince, but a soldier. If you so wish, then you may join the Shards of Hope. Not as a country, but as a single man. It would be an honour to have you within our ranks. Naturally, if you're interested we'll discuss the final terms, but I'd like to make one thing clear to you." Jaden explained. "If you join us, then it is not your whole country. It is an opportunity for one man. And if you join us, then I am willing to do whatever is possible to ensure that your sovereignty is protected from the Order of the Hammer. If you don't feel like joining us, that is fine as well. The offer of protection for your country still stands. However, I think it would be a shame to allow this opportunity to go to waste, Prince Varraki. I can see that you're a warrior, and I imagine you're a good one. We need men like you. I have a special taskforce of particular individuals that stand out among the rest. You look to me like a perfect fit for it. The two you mentioned earlier have been assigned to that."
"The possibilities here are limited only by you. If you're willing to talk with me on this, I'm sure that we can come to an arrangement, if you're interested of course."

"I see, so your family has a spirit being passed down the generations. It's a shame that Aidan's spirit didn't receive the same treatment. Otherwise this war would be won already." She mused, partly to herself. It seemed to her that there was no particular love for the Samarost family in Onamakritos' part of the world. She could understand that, given their rulers' history. She also highly doubted his claims of purity. That was not how human reproduction worked. "In any, bloodline or not you aren't part of the Shards of Hope, not really. And not you, nor her, will unseat Jaden." This could be dangerous. But then she smirked.
"You're one bloodthirsty son of a b*tch aren't you?" She leaned against one of the transport vehicles nearby. "You'll have your fill of glory. You can return home covered in blood."
