I'm surprised no one posted this.

I thought this was just insane n' flippin' freaky! Why oh why would someone do this? Awright, folk date online but how can they claim to love someone so much that they'd hunt 'em down? Mental!

Y'all stay away from me now!

Shiiiiiite, that's pretty damn scary. I wouldn't blame her for crying if he came on her doorstep, I would too, that's freakin' scary.

You know, he actually had some pretty strong willpower. I mean, to write your murderers name in your own blood for the cops... takes guts. (it was at the end of the article.) And yet, this might add more fuel for the paranoid parent's fire - "The internet is full of crazy people who'll kill you on sight! Don't use it!". I'm sure not telling my mom about this.

Holy...! Jesus, there are some sickos out there. It doesn't help us guys on the internet either. Any parent who hears about this'll just be telling their girls to stay away from "stange" guys they talk to online. It's reassureing to know this sort of thing is the absolute supreme minority of internet users ever, but it's still gonna worry people.

But yeah, this is gonna be used as another excuse for us not to trust fellow internet people. I trust more people here with secrets than I'd trust some people I know with my socks.

That is an entire different matter. xD

It's like many cases on the internet. A sad wee git becomes fascinated by another person n' will do anythin' to learn more 'bout 'em. It wasn't love, it was an obsession.

true, and the obsession turned to murder-- hence the fact that i am creeped by the fact that someone would GO SO FAR.

Yowza....okay, anybody that was once interested in me here, I am now off limits. For reals.

This sounds like the case I heard about here in my state about the Craig's List Killer, who responded to classified ads on that website but killed the people he met through the site. I don't think it was due to the same circumstances that this guy murdered, but it's still the same concept.

That is indeed very creepy. It's also kind of very disturbing just to read that that actually happened to an online couple. The stalker must've had a weird obsession with the girl.

    Exactly.

    I agree, that's very brave

this doesn't surprise me, i actually considermy friend very lucky to be alive when she hooked up over the internet. and then met him it's just REALLY unsafe and kinda stupid to meet someone in real life from the internet.
