Forgotten in the Dusk

Natalie became very worried. She walked over to the window and saw the enormous amount of heartless covering a body. She saw it was Xetmme.

"XETMME!!" she shouted jumping out of the window, landing on the ground. She took out her Blades and yelled.
"ICE SWEEP!"
A large cold front rolled in freezing all the heartless in place.

 

Xetmme heard a faraway voice and recognized it to be Natalie. With much force, he dragged himself back to conciousness. He pushed weakly on the cold mound of heartless ontop of him but didn't have the strength to break free.

 

Natalie hit a few heartless that weren't frozen. There were still multiple numbers of heartless still attacking. She got hit by one and fell back, hitting her head hard on the ground knocking her unconscious. More heartless gathered around her.

 

Xetmee muscled his way out of the frozen mass. He stood up, knees cracking painfully, when he saw a mass gathering of heartless a few feet away. With a growing sense of dread, he made a path until he could see theobject in the center. "NATALIE!!!" he bellowed and dived forward. Destroying the last few heartless in his way he grabbed her and ran for the castle. As he ran a metal horse appeared, galloping beside him. Xetmme transfered Natalie to the horse and then jumped on behind her, holding her up. "Ya!" he said and the horse speeded up, heading for the castle.

 

"Xetmme" she said weakly, her eyes still closed.

 

"I'm here," he said soothingly." "Its ok," he said gently. Bursting through the door he carried her up to his room and layed her on his bed. Remembering before, he went and sat in a chair opposite to the bed.

 

"Are you okay?" she asked looking over at him.

 

"Yes," he lied but his wounds gave him away. THough he felt no pain. Adrenaline coursed through his veins.

 

She sat up, feeling a large pain in her head. She let out a small groan and put her hand on the back of her head.

 

he started to go over to her but stopped. "Don't move, just rest." He suddenly got up and began moving towards the door. "I'll leave if it makes you uncomfortable," he offered.

 

"Please don't leave," she said, tears filling up in her eyes.

 

"okay, Okay ,I won't leave, I'm not going anywhere," he said soothingly. He sat back down in the chair.

 

She looked at him softly, the tears dropping down her face.
"You scared me," she said.

 

"I'm....Sorry?" He said confused.

 

She looked at him...
"Why did you fight all those heartless alone?" she asked.

 

"Oh...that...." He trailed off, looking sheepish. "I dunno," he mumbled, now engrossed with the tip of his boot.

 

Natalie stood out of the bed and walked over to him. She looked into his eyes.
"Can I tell you something?" she asked

 

He stood up and grabbed her forearms. "You can tell me anything," he said earnesetly. His eyes searched her face.

 

She breathed sharply.
"I..I" she tried to say. She looked down, her vision became more blurry, and her head began to hurt.

 

"Natalie, are you ok?" He gripped her harder, steadying her.
