"Oh don't worry about it." Lake giggled, squeezing his hand slightly and smiling. "I'm not exactly the most fantastic dancer ever either. Never even tried until now." She added, a nervous laugh escaping her still perfectly pink lips.

Seems like everyone is getting married and having babies... Immy thought to herself. She knew she was one of the youngest in her family, even the youngest in her immediate family. But Nate was younger then her, if only just, and he seemed a lot closer to any of it then her. Admittedly she did have a boyfriend now, but he was her first. It was hardly likely that she was going to marry him and have his kids, meanwhile Nate had been in a relationship with his girlfriend for a good five months now without any trouble. This was why she hated weddings, they always made her worry about what her life had in store for her.

 

He laughed"makes two of us...always sat down at weddings."

 

"Your sisters wedding and this one are pretty much the only one's I've ever attended." Lake sighed, stepping out onto the dance floor.

 

"I've been to waay too many...and i can see more in the future...first one i was ever at was my mum and dad's."

 

Neoph nodded. he was more sure of himself now. Veronica came in, steaming mad.
"you know i can't move as fast as you!" she said.
"geez.. sorry..." he leaned closer to Maddie. "i guess i'm sleeping alone tonight."
Veronica grabbed Neoph by his collar. "you bet you are!" she let go of him.
"how can i make it up to you?" Neoph asked.
Veronica tapped her foot. "i'm not sure you can!" she turned around.
Neoph put on a sad face. he leaned into Veronica with his face on her back. "i'm sorry... i'm a horrible husband..." he cried fakely.
Veronica turned back around and hugged Neoph. "it's okay.."
Neoph broke the hug and faced Maddie "works every time."

 

she smiled

 

"Well this is the one that matters, right?" Lake queried, putting one delicate hand on his shoulder whilst continuing to hold onto his other hand.

 

"yeah."he said

 

Veronica leaned over Neoph's shoulder. "what works every time?"
"um- uh-" Neoph froze.

 

"I still cant believe Mickey and Ronan both got into a college!"Lyra said"was the stupid thing a act?"


"Mum...Im a idiot...but im not a total idiot...I am smart enough to get into tech school Ok?"

"if you say so...just dont get into any trouble."

"I've been there for weeks now Mum...what trouble could i get into? anyways...you said I was always good at taking things apart and fixing them again."


"Hmmm."

 

Veronica played with Neoph's hair. "tell me." she said in a sweet voice.
"weeeell... ummm..." Neoph said.
"ah just forget it!" Veronica pushed Neoph, making him stumble, but not not fall.
Neoph leaned closer to Maddie. "yup. i'm sleeping alone tonight." he chuckled.

 

"Just act grown up Michael...your married now...time to act your age."


"Uh-huh."
