He grinned,his usual big goffy grin,that was all he seemed to be able to do,grin like a idiot.

 

When Lake finally made her way up to him she smiled brightly and happily.

 

his grin widened

 

"I love you." Lake said quietly, a flash of scarlet blush darting across her face.

 

"I love you too."he said

 

OOC- Should we just skip to the reception thing? I can't remember the Wizard Wedding Vows and I can't be bothered to go dig out my book <_< >_>

Lake smiled brightly and looked towards the slightly tubby witch who was going to perform the ceremony for them.

Lake was sat in the middle of the top table in the gorgeously landscaped gardens they'd taken over for the wedding. She had her beautiful blonde head rested on Mickey's shoulder and a content smile on her face as she examined the golden ring on her wedding finger. She still couldn't quite believe that now she was no longer Lake River the orphan with no family but Lake Malfoy who had a large and completely insane family that sure as hell wouldn't let life get dull for even a moment. The change was well... magical. Even for the Wizarding World.

Whilst Lake sat in her daydreamy trance her father-in-law and his younger brother were once again at it, chasing each other around the tables and just generally making a scene. For most people it was a sight of great hilarity but their mother and sister were having a hard time keeping them from making the reception area into a disaster area.

 

He'd done it, he'd proved himself wrong, he actually married someone...not just any girl though...a girl he'd go to the ends of the earth for if he had too...a girl who he had once gone months without and he never planned to do it ever again,he sat watching her day-dream,seeming in a little world of his own,he was completely oblvious to his surroundings.

"Casey,if you dont want to be imobilized next time there's a wedding,I suggest you calm yourself down!"Lyra said turning in her seat,she was worried they were going to destroy everything"I swear sometimes its like i have five children and not four..."she muttered under her breath.

 

After a couple more long moments of happy daydream Lake looked up at her newly wedded husband and smiled lovingly at him. Looking at him was like looking at her life, in fact it was looking at her life. As she'd found out, much to her pain and sorrow, without him she was better off dead as she'd never forget how much she loved him or how much her life had changed for the better since he'd come into it.

"CASEY SCORPIOUS MALFOY AND BENJAMIN DRACO LONG-BOTTOM-MALFOY YOU TWO GET BACK HERE RIGHT NOW AND SIT DOWN OR I SWEAR TO GOD I WILL FIND SOME WAY TO GROUND YOU BOTH! I DON'T CARE HOW OLD YOU ARE!" Conni bellowed at her two misbehaving sons, finally having had enough of their antics.

"But he started it!" The two of the whined in unison, glaring at each other with that special almost-death-stare that only siblings can have for each other.

"I DON'T CARE WHO STARTED IT! I'M BLOODY WELL FINISHING IT!" She screamed, pointing firmly at two chairs one on the table she was previously sat down at with her friends and relatives by marriage and the other next to Lyra. It was obvious which chair was meant for whom.

"Fine..." Casey muttered as he slunk sulkily over to his wife, whom he expected had another ear bashing waiting for him for after he sat down. He only had to hope he had enough charm in him to work his way out of that one going on and on and on.

"Yeah, yeah." Ben sighed, rolling his eyes as he sat down next to his mother looking even sulkier then his older brother.

 

He grinned in return,No,he was never going to hurt her again...or let anyone or anything hurt her...seeing her look at him like that....made him feel completely normal...

"Next time there's a wedding,im tying you to the bloody seat!"Lyra hissed"you did this at Maddie's wedding too...thats it...when we get home,im getting rid of all the sugar!"

 

Lake giggled joyfully and hugged him tightly. Since she'd met him, since she'd found out she wasn't the only werewolf around, since they'd become friends and since she'd ultimately fallen in love with him and he with her she'd never felt so at home, so much like she belonged somewhere and so human. Around him she didn't even have to worry about accidently passing the lycanthropy onto him, she was able to be her, really her.

Casey gasped dramatically. "You can't get rid of the sugar!" He whined. "Get rid of the coffee, no one really likes the coffee." Casey pleaded.

 

"Watch me...and I like coffee!"

He hugged her back

 

"Well you're weird." Casey said sulkily as he folded his arms over his chest and slumped down in his chair.

"It's rather hard to believe we're really married." Lake giggled quietly, still holding onto Mickey tightly.

 

"I know."he said quietly"like a dream."


"Im weird? Im the one thats weird?"Lyra said raising a eyebrow,her voice getting slightly higher too


"Mum...voice control..."Cory said

 

"Only at least with this we don't have to wake up." She said sweetly, almost under her breath.

"I'm perfectly normal." Casey said smugly, almost trying to bait Lyra into making a bigger scene then he did so he was no longer the one making a fool of himself.

 

"Oh thats right i forgot....im a nutter."she said


he nodded grinning

 

"An utter nutter." Casey chuckled, liking the rhyme of it.

Lake gently cupped the side of his face in her delicate hand and kissed his cheek softly.

 

she finaly cracked a smile"thanks for that..."she grinned

he smiled

 

"You're welcome." Casey said, smiling in a somehow adorable manner.

Lake smiled back, her eyes sparkling slightly in the evening sunlight.
