"Too much time with your sister is what does it." Lake giggled. "And what are you going to be doing tonight?" She asked, playing along with whatever little plot he had going on in his mind.

 

he grinned"well she is evil..."he said"get P*ssed cos its about time i did...that is after i ask you something....come with me..."He said leading her outside towards the lake

"You know what you get like when you're drunk though." Lake giggled as she was lead off by him towards the exit.

yeah,but it means a lie in tomorrow.."he grinned back at her,he turned to face her"Ok....i asked like every guy i know how you do this...they werent much help since they mostly made jokes about it....so if i make a jackass of myself...dont laugh..."He joked,before pulling something out his pocket,her fingered it for a second,then got on one knee"Lake...will you marry me?"

 

"Oh... my... god..." Was the only thing that Lake could think of to say when she first opened her mouth. Her face flushing a fantastic shade of pink as she looked at the ring, she raised a shaking hand and touched it lightly. As though she was making sure it was real and not just some fantastic, amazing dream. "Y-Yes, of of course!" She giggled, throwing herself at him and hugging him tightly.

 

he grinned,hugging her tightly

 

Lake giggled happily as she gazed at the ring, still holding onto him tightly.

 

"you like it then?"he laughed

 

"Of course I do!" She giggled, kissing him lightly on the cheek.

Lake continued to gaze at the ring, chanting "Oh my god..." Under her breath over and over again.

 

he grinned"are you so shocked thats the only word you can remeber?"he joked

 

"Pretty much..." Lake replied with a giggle.

 

he laughed

 

Lake grinned back and hugged him again. "I love you."
