Suggest your favorite foods. Do try to include a suggestion or two from your own nationality but, feel free to suggest foods that are foreign to you, foreign foods you like. The foods suggestions thread, foreign or not. Do include, also, where the food hails from. Its name. And whatnot. Photos are optional.

I apologise if these foods have been suggested already by none other than myself, I have posted before probably... but, conglomerating this into a single thread.

tbh, haven't the faintest idea where fudge has its origin. An excuse to post something from the US, as I said, one from your nationality...

You must eat saltimbocca in your life. It's an Italian dish I believe? Disputed Italian/Spanish.
Saltimbocca means "jump in mouth" for a reason haha.

LARiA, I think I just had an orgasm after looking at all that delicious food.

Since I'm South American, from Brazil to be exact, I would feel bad if I didn't include this dish.
When we say that we like our rice and beans, we aren't kidding.

    Pão de Queijo - Brazil
I think most Brazilians will agree with me when I say that stuff is FUCKING AMAZING!

    Frango com Quiabo - Brazil
Chicken with okra(I think that's what it translates to)

Mac and Cheese - America(I'm just assuming here. I don't really know)

Dammit, now I'm hungry and I just finished eating too.

    Mac 'N Cheese ~ UK
    Specifically, homemade.

    Sushi ~ Japan

No, seriously, I eat this plain constantly.

Looks like, like... dinosaur eggs. Or an extraterrestrial's unborn baby, fetus? No, no, more like eggs of some sort. I know I've ruined the moment terribly, they do look tasty, they do. I think, I will like to have some Pão de Queijo. And beans + rice is the tastiest simple dish I know of. Black beans, preferably.

    Oh, look... french fries.

Oh, Guiness should be on the list. As vile as I find the drink. More a Vodka or Cider man. Origin Ireland. Duh.

Ah also Vodka. Origin Russia, probably.

or likely China, affectionally known by schoolchildren of the 60s as 'Frog Spawn' for how it looked.

I cannot help but feel disappointed by no one's commenting on my french fries comment; no comments on my smartass comment. I sent myself into a fits of laughter with that comment, a fit of tears. It goes to show, my rapidly deteriorating sense of humour. Deteriorating? As if it wasn't always so unrefined. Unfunny Lilith.

Your vodka of choice is...? Have you any favorite brand?
