My heart is beating fast,
How I want this moment to last.

You looked at me and did not care,
How I looked or what I wear,
That feeling I will not forget,
Is something I want to get.

I know you are dating her,
But if you love her, I’m not sure,
Your eyes are so green and bright,
They aren’t worthy of her sight.

I wish you were mine,
Your mind, you kindness, your shine,
As I stare across the way,
The day I talk to you…will be today.
