By god, the Persona fanbase makes it REALLY hard to enjoy the games. They are up there with Portal fans as far as ruining franchises and jokes go.
Thank god us Kingdom Hearts fans don't force our fandom on others. That'd make us just as bad as all the other fandoms out there.
The difference is that Kingdom Hearts as a series is really bad, whereas both Portal and Persona are pretty good. It's like Sonic and its fanbase. They don't ruin it, because there was nothing to ruin.
We're talking about the fanbase, not the material the fanbase worships. Bad things can have terrific fanbases. My Little Pony has a fantastic fandom, but the show tastes like diabetes.
But what I was talking about was a fanbase ruining a franchise. So my point still stands. As the KH fanbase cannot ruin the franchise more than Nomura does.
