I dont even see the importance or credence to this thread. Hetro-sexual couples are accepted due to contemporary socitey. Homosexuality is out side those contemporary lines. But you CANNOT say for a second that same sex couples are not treated pretty good. I mean hell, when is there an official 'straight pride parade'? When do you see a same sex couple complain and groan because they dont get something they want? No offense to anyone here, but thats all I ever see gay couples do ***** and complain that they dont have enough equal rights or whatever. Im not homophobic or anything, I have no problem with gay couples, dont get me wrong, but its stupid, pointless things like this thread that make them look like ****ing idiots.

Thats the thing, equal rights doesnt exist, no matter what, someone will be put on the back burner. look at this

gays get 'equal rights'=conservatives are ignored, destroying the 'equal part'
conservatives get what they want=gays dont get it

the best we can do is compromise in this world, look at how it was 30-50 years ago. people were actually arrested in some states for homosexuality. Hell, the state of luisianna has a law(its ignored in this day and age, but still TECHNICALLY in effect) that says "Any public displays of same sex affection can result in a 100 dollar fine, and/or 24 hours in jail.

so before saying how horrible gay rights are, why not think about how much its progressed? and try to be a little happy with what has been done, you'll find life a little more bearable.
