Do you wish you never played games in the past so you could experience the emotions you had then now? For example do you find games to easy and the stories predictable? do you wish that you could forget your past experiences so that you could be surprised again?

Not really. Once I've played through once, playing again can change surprise into anticipation. Also, dating sims solve this problem very well. You never know exactly which path you're taking until you're far enough along in the game. It adds a lot of replay value.

    Not really no

I mean for racing games I pretty much expect it and those are way too easy for me.

But rpg's no. Because when I replay the whole story again I try to do differents things to see if I can get a different outcome.

Shooters I would have to say no. That's because some of the shooting games I've played actual surprised me a bit. Halo Reach the assassinations in that game reminds me of Assassins Creed games. But like COD(Which I really destest with a passion. I will rarely play it even if my freinds want me to.) I could care less about my experience in that game.

Dating Sims I haven't played in a while but no I like to choose different things to see the different outcomes. And while I mean 4-7years while.

To brood on what has already come to pass is naught but folly.

To forget all those fun experiences would be devastating, I prefer knowing the game inside out then playing it for the first time. For example, when playing the Kingdom hearts 2 for the first time I was like WTF? and didn't enjoy it loads in the first run through but now I absolutely love it. I couldn't go back to not knowing anything.

Oh god, I wish for that all the time. There's nothing like the first time I played Fallout 3. Not knowing what was around every corner. Now I've played it so much that I do, but it's still fun. Just no surprises.

Nope. Not as far as Final Fantasy VIII, KH and Resident Evil are concerned. There's a reason for each of them.
Final Fantasy VIII: Knowing the story is what makes it so beautiful, otherwise you're just like "Meh. They call all die for all I care."
KH: Oh god. No. :<3: Can't live without it xD
Resident Evil: It would scare the life outta me.

No. Seeing as all new releases usually suck now, what else would I desperately cling on to?

I would say selective memory loss if possible. I like knowing the plotline especially if it is well writtin, to pick up on foreshadowing, subtle character developments, and the like. FF13 for example I found to be a lot more enjoyable on my second play through. I do however wish I could forget level layouts and solutions to puzzles. I really like the feeling of exploration and trying to figure something out. I'm like addicted to Demon's souls right now for that reason. You get thrown into some very different environments to try and find your way, and then the dificulty is so high it forces you to take it seriously making a lot of the bosses feel a puzzle of sorts.
