okay ive seen that this site has all fm scenes and for that im gratefull but whyare they in jap audio if the FM cutscenes are in english?

 

Correct me if I'm wrong here (never played Final Mix), but when they were making the Final Mix(s), they added the new cutscenes and used Japanese voice acting, as the game was being released in Japan. The existing cutscenes are I believe in English, but for the new ones they didn't bring in the English VAs.

 

This is true, though i have no idea why they kept the rest of the cutscenes with the English V/As the new ones ARE Japanese only.

 

This is my understanding:
A Kingdom Hearts game is released in Japan. After looking at things like glitches, fan's feedback, etc, Square goes back & fixes things, adds some new stuff, translates the game, gets the English VAs in, and then releases the game to North America.

This means though that the Japanese missed out on the new content that was released with the North American game. So Square will add even more and release a Final Mix to Japan.

So maybe something during the process makes it easier to leave the audio in English?

I'm sure it's a lot easier to get the Japanese VAs in, too, then have the English ones come in for continuity's sake.
