What's your favorite song off the new disc in the Complete OST?

I'm going to have to go with Another Side. I originally heard it on the American website but it wasn't on the soundtrack and now I finally have it!

Some other great songs are The Other Promise (so sad) and Rage Awakened. Of course, Fate of the Unknown is amazing, too.

Cavern of Remembrance is also amazing. It's like aquatic elevator music. I feel like I could sit back, relax, and just think to this song.

What do you think of the X-Mas tunes? I personally think they work great. Another Side is still just jaw dropping. The buildup and everything is just perfect.

 

The new song they put at Yuletide Hills was really great.

When I went in for the first time, with the new costumes and hearing the new music, I *really* felt like I entered a new world. The same I felt when I entered the Cave of Remembrance for the first time.

To a point, I consider Christmas Town and Cave of Remembrance their own worlds. They're just really different from their 'main' worlds.

 

I haven't played yet, but I get the jist of what you're saying. Cavern of Rememberance's music is perfect, but odd, same with the Roxas battle. Yet they just seem to have worked out perfectly. (Is now listening to Fate).

 

The ones I've been listening to the most are Fate of the Unknown, Rage Awakened, and The Other Promise. They're my favorites at the moment.

By the way a quick question..
I got the OST after Final Mix+, I had just passed the part in the game where Goofy supposedly dies. And after listening to Rage Awakened, it seems to me that the song plays while fighting alongside allies before finding out Goofy is alive. Anyone else remember if it plays at that time?

 

It only plays during the ES battle.

I like the XIIIth Reflection. Also, Fate of the unknown, they're both amazing.

 

Thanks for clearing that up, maybe I just thought the song seemed fitting. Anyways the new Christmas Town music is great, I cant imagine anything else playing there.

 

Cavern of Remembrance - Beautiful. Just beautiful. The song has an aquatic touch. Very peaceful. I have put this song on repeat while lying in bed.

Fate of The Unknown - Amazing. It is a very good song. It was a good choice for the secret ending.

Rage Awakened - A very good song. This was the perfect choice for T.E.S.' fight. It has suspense and it makes things fun.

The XIII Reflection - Amazing. Simply amazing. Great choice for the XIII members. It was suspenseful, and sounded awesome.

The Other Promise - Very dramatic. It was beautiful, but dramatic. No song could have been better for the fight and scenes after the fight. To be honest, I kinda... cried during the scenes. >_>

The song that plays while fighting alongside the FF crew as your make your way down to the Great Maw is called Vim and Vigor.

Raged Awakened only plays during ES, like Roxas said.

 

I saw a Yuletide Hill vid and the music really brought me back...
Can't hear Rage Awakened clearly...
Going to listen to Another Side though.
Cave of Rememberance BM (Battle Music) i heard while getting my KH2FM+ screenshots and wallpaper and it is as intense as some of the Cave's Battles (i saw the cave walkthrough, he was a Lv65 sora in a Lv 99 area... hooray for ignoring all recommendations!)

The song played at Christmas Town is very nice too but I don't know the name of it.

I ignored the recommendations because obviously I was curious, I never expected to get that far. Not really a level 99 area, I beat the nobodies at level 74, and the Data fights are beatable at around level 85-90.

 

Same. I was 60 something when I went there. I was curious to see how far I could get as well.

I ended up making it all the way to the Garden of Assemblence. Of course, the last two hoards of Nobodies was incredibly stressful, driving about 5 times just to avoid dying (miraculously considering you don't get Last Live until like.. ~lvl 85).

Of course I left the Cave once I got there, lol.

And *shock* at Xehanort putting Fate of the Unknown at the bottom!

I liked the other songs better.

And I to got far in cavern. I kept annoying Uta on AIM about it. XD

The last wave was insane.

I used trinity + Final multiple times. I ran/flew around until my mp recovered so I could cure, and only attacked once or twice every 30 seconds.

It was scary.

But I made it.

Deep Anxiety - It was okay. They could have done a little better on it. It was good music for the fights in the area, but it could have had a little more.. umph.
