    Many people have been asking the same Questions about FM+;
    How Much?
    How Long does it take?
    How do you import?
Do you need a Japanese PS2?

Hopefully all Questions about Importing FM+ will be answered.
(hopefully there is no other topic like this and hopefully mods don't see this as in the wrong section)

    How Much?

    $70.

    How Long?

Depends on how much you pay for shipping; anywhere from 1-5 days to 5-10 days.

    How do you import?

By buying the game off of play-asia.com.

Do you need a Japanese PS2?

    No, Swap Magic is fine.

    What Roxas said.

You don't NEED a Japanese PS2; but if you can't do the swap magic stuff to your American PS2, a Japanese one would be easier.

Is play-asia.com the best place to order?

Some more information (for your own reference) can be located in this thread.

Play-Asia is a reliable site; I've ordered all my imports from there.

However, YesAsia is also another site that offers Final Mix+ and other imports, but I couldn't give you any feedback about the service; never ordered from there.

It's a software mod (a boot disc of sorts) that temporarily allows your laser to read backups and imports without having to modify your PS2 with a soldered chip.

Essentially your place the disc into the PS2 and let it load, then once the swap magic picture shows, you 'swap' the disc with the desired game you want to play with and load it. Be aware that this only works after you adjust your PS2 in such a way that you can open the lid/open the tray without your PS2 thinking it's open.

This is achieved by purchasing a Slide Card (for fat consoles) or Magic Keys/Slim Tool Pro (for slim PS2s). There are ways you can make these things yourself (especially for the Slims) but a lot of these methods, if not all, void your warranty.

About 20-30 bucks if you buy it with the required tools that you need.

I personally only needed the DVD disc so I got a used Swap Magic DVD disc from ultimateconsoleguides for 9 bucks.

The full Swap Magic set comes with a DVD disc (PS2 backups/imports) and CD disc (for PS1 backups/imports).

It should come w/ a slide card, otherwise it'd be a real drag sliding back and fourth that white tab you move w/ the slide card w/ something else.

Just type swap magic in the google search and you'll definitely find a website that sells them
