Dmitri eyed her and then rolled his eyes.
"Fine," he said grumpily. He stepped out of the earth boots and sat down on the pillar, lowering it to her eye level.
"What's in it for me,' He asked, poking her right in between the eyes.

 

She stumbled back slightly with a small childish laughter.
"Nothin of course silly... You'll just get better attitude from me and nothing can beat a new friend," she smiled.

 

He locked eyes with her for a moment, looking hard into them but then shrugged.
"Might as well, I have nothing better to do," he said.
He jumped the rest of the way to the ground but winced when he hit it. His back stretched and he remembered the whip slash.

 

Bella got up "I'm ok." She looked at Dmitri and Kako and started laughing without any reason whatsoever.

 

Her eyes began glossy and the wind picked up a gentle breeze.
"Are you okay?" she asked softly. She heard some sort of roaring laughter but ignored it...

 

"Small gash, hurt when I pulled at it thats all."
In all truth the wound was doing its own healing quiet nicely. After he had reopened it the blood dried and clotted so the wound was already sealed from the outside. Dmitri was aware of two things simultaneously. One was that Kako obtained a far off look and the wind picked up.
"Is that you or just the natural wind?"

 

Her gaze became curious and the wind blew from different positions as if it was exploring out of curiosity.
"I dunno," she said, shrugging her shoulders, feeling a shrug of wind after shrugging her shoulders

 

"Sorry, Dmitri, I wasn't trying to hurt you that much. Guess I do't have as great control of my powersa as I thought. So... here:" Evan put sothing water into the wound and left it there, swirling around so it would heal quicker. "So, by the way, i'm Evan. I got water" Evan smiled. "Whadda we do now with these powers?"

 

Bella quit laughing "I'm Bella" she snapped and a bolt of lightning crashed in front of her. She grinned "That never gets old" she then turned to Evan "I don't know".

 

Dmitri looked up from Kako and turned to Evan. A wry smile was on his mouth. His jaw and mouth were visible from the muzzle of the wolf mask that covered him.
"So I figured out," he said to Evan," Thanks."
He stretched a little and was pleased to say that it didn't hurt anymore, just a tugging sensation like when you get stitches.
"These powers were given to you for a reason. I was given this power much the same way that you all were only in a far away village. I didn't have anyone to help me take control of my powers but I will do my best to help you."

 

Kio walks out of the shadowy area and starts to head out of the mountainside. "You all have fun, doodling with your elements... I have things to attend to."

 

Dmitri nodded once and began to join him.
"Girls have fun," he said sarcastically and then he turned to Evan,"Watch out for them while we are gone."
Dmitri walked in quick strong strides until he was beside Kio.
"You didn't honestly think that I would let the future guardian just waltz into the woods alone now did you?"

 

Kio continues to walk back towards the village. "In case you haven't noticed, I don't have any kind of power. So that doesn't quite make me a Guardian, now does it?"

 

"Not true. Just because your power doesn't manifest itself doesn't mean you don't have one. You will have to unlock it on your own and you can't unlock something when you don't know what to look for."

 

Kio rolls his eyes. "Well, we've seen Water, Thunder, Wind and you. What else is there, Fire? We've still got one person unconscious in there." He says, as a flock of dark birds fly towards him and Dmitri.

 

"No not me. Earth was never a guardian. Earth was like a bodyguard for the guardians. Strange I know but he was more of a protector then a ruler. So here I am," he said, spreading his arms out," protecting. And look there were more guardians than the ones just guarding this village. You may still have a power."

 

Kio laughs sarcastically at Dmitri. "Oh, if you're talking about the bright shine of light in the story, I believe you're just looking for false hopes."

 

Bella completely ignored Dmitri and Kio "I'm out of here" she walked past them towards the exit.

 

Kio chuckles and starts walking towards the village again. "It seems the Guardians are splitting up. It's getting late anyway, we can just meet back here tomorrow."

 

"Um...." Bella stopped and turned to Kio "Do you know the way out of here?"
