Since nobody bothered helping when I had this problem, I'm putting a solution to the problem.

If you're experiencing problems with sound on an internet browser (no sound on Youtube videos, for instance), simply follow these instructions:

    1. Open Notepad
    2. Paste the following

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Drivers32]

    3. Save as "missing.reg"
    4. Go to Start/Run
    5. Type "regedit"
    6. File/Import
    7. Choose "missing.reg" and import
    8. Problem should be solved.

I've an XP, so I'm not sure if it works for every version. Might as well try it though.

If you don't have XP, I wouldn't recommend using that, as it might screw up your registry files and f*ck your comp all to hell. Just a suggestion. Not all versions use the same files.
