Depends on how save files are handled. For the vast majority of PS3 games you can't push to large numbers. KH1.5 is actually the only one I can think of off hand that does allow that.

Yeah, it's the Vita version. I like having my RPGs on the go, cause that's just how I flow, y'know?

I' ve never played with the normal grid. Too restrictive for my tastes, it almost looks like XIII' s paradygm shit straight line.

I would have recommended standard sphere grid since you're new to the game
but w/e I'm sure you'll be fine. Expert is more fun anyhow

The fact that you never used it explains why you'd think that

I gave it a good long look on the guide. You have to wait hours and hours to be allowed to make any meaningful choice, everyone' s stuck in its own job for quite a while.

By that logic FF13 is better because you can develop multiple jobs whenever you want.
With FFX you can make detours, but they actually MEAN something, because you have to spend levels to backtrack. There's also placing the special spheres in empty nodes, and you have to find and use key spheres to get certain stuff. And it makes sense to wait until later to diverge into other jobs because doing so early is worthless, and more than likely will end up borking your character

Lies, all lies. Both Yuna and Kimari starts out with high magic stats, so the only logical thing is to send Yuna through the black mage path and Kimhari through the white mage path. And right now, Kimhari is by far my strongest character with his black magic, dealing 4k damage to enemies without elemental weaknesses. And I just got Bahamut.

There are quite a few good builds, if you just experiment a bit.

The only drug I took was the expert sphere grid, where the impossible becomes possible.

Seriously though, he does twice as much damage as Lulu, with the same spells.

But he still starts further away from everything than everybody else, the only way I could see that working is if you borked your other characters. Or did you invest a tonne of spheres into Kimahri? Like did you use Blakc Mage spheres to get black magic for him without diverting him off Yuna's path?

XIII had ceilings every step on the way, grinding was a no brainer. Unlock everything you can, move to the next chapter, whatever you unlock first barely matters.

Overal I enjoy the FF that let me customize my characters as I please, like V and VII, rather than have the exact same team as every single player on the planet. I love you IX, but your characters are really rigid.

The expert grid lets you experiment much more. I' d rather take my chances at either botching or OPing my characters than have SE holding my hand all the way.

Yeah, his intended path sucks balls.

Let me rephrase that for you, his normal grid sucks balls.

And btw I hope XII will get the HD treatement someday. From what I heard the Zodiac Job thingy allows much more customization too.
