Well....umm...This is my first try at making sigs, and I know they look noobish, but they where my first try, and well...see them for yourself. Newtimes Yuna I know they are bad, but I've seen some tutorials before actually starting. I noticed GIMP 2 tutorials are scarce in respect to how to use it. I want to keep improving, but I barely know how to use GIMP; I'll just keep on trying. You can CnC and rate, and all that. I would also appreciate tips on how to keep going, or what things to watch out for.
For your first siggys ever, they're pretty good. My fave would be the secomd one though. It looks a lot cleaner, though you do need something in the big white space...
First one is very nice for a first attempt. I actually like the smudging effect at the base of the render quite a lot. The background is nice, albeit a bit random, but the colors go with the render fairly well. Second one is a bit plainer, but it's alright. I like the left side, has a god bit of potential, but the white neg space kinda takes away from the overall quality of it. I'd say follow some tutorials on C4D usage and smudging, because you're pretty good at making backgrounds. Also look up some general information on depth and flow. There should be some tutorials on that around the forum.
Thank you. I was precisely now checking all that. The lighting, the depth, flow...among other things. Thanks a buch.
