First saw KH

Hm.. I think I remember my mom reading ome kinda magazine article about it when I was like 7, but I'd never heard of 'Square Soft' back then, so I just figured it was gonna be some kinda game where ya play as Mickey, and that was enough really to get me interested I guess...

I take it that you were delayed a bit to play it then, as X-2 game out quite a while after KH did...

 

To be quite honest with you, I hadn't actually heard of Kingdom Hearts until I saw a commercial for Chain of Memories on Disney Channel when I was in elementary school. I was kinda outdoors-y then, so I just said "Lame!" and didn't pay any attention to it until KH2 came out...then I played them all out of order. (KH2, KH1, COM)

 

I got kingdom hearts because i had final fantasy 6-9 for my ps1 and i saw kingdom hearts featured charecters from FF so i got it and i liked it

 

because it looked cool and had mickey in it(supposedly)who only came at the end

 

It looked cool,so I bought it.

When I see a awesome game,I buy the awesome game.XD

 

I was... in 4th or 5th grade with the first Kingdom Hearts came out. I thought it was a bunch of whooha when I saw the commercial. "Disney? Final Fantasy? ...PUH-LEEZE!" and I laughed too hard when I found out my friend was hooked on it. And he played it when I came over to his house too. So when CoM came out, I wanted it a bit... but I still laughed at the commercials whenever I saw it on 4kids. And guess who got CoM when I was too busy laughing at the commercial? ...My KH obsessed friend, of course.

By the time KH2 came around, I went off to EB Games to buy Suikoden V... guess what game I disliked for almost three years came out on my birthday? Yes, Kingdom Hearts II. I wanted to buy it for some odd reason, but I had enough for one game. So Suikoden V it was.
About a year went by when KH2 came out. A month after my 13th birthday, my best friend was playing KH2. She told me to play it, so I went off and traded a game with a friend. So I had KH2 in my possesion, I finished in a week. And I was hooked.

Jeebus, I can't believe I used to dislike Kingdom Hearts so much. Heh... I need to keep an open mind. Overall, I just played the game just for to see if it was worth playing til the end. Haha!

I first saw KH in a chain of memories commercial on cartoon network. And I loved the song so I'm like "that sounds so cool!". When I got the game I'm like who the heck is Riku and the King and who is Sora and who's this Kairi person they keep talking about? The only person's name I said right was Sora. And why are donald and goofy in this game? And what's with all of the disney movies. I didn't know FF characters so I was totally clueless. But I loved it and eventually got all of the games. (Except for the Final mIxes.) But that's for another Birthday.

 

Yeah, thats why you should never judge a book by its cover. And in this case, a game.

 

I actually didn't like it at all when I first saw it. I thought it was stupid and a waste of time. :sweat: Then I went to my friends house and saw him playing this awesome game. I asked what it was called so I could buy it, and I couldn't believe it when he told me it was the stupid Kingdom Hearts game. :D *sigh* I wonder where I would be now without those games....

 

when i first saw the commercial i got my eyes were glued to the TV. all i say was disney, eye candy, action, and a beautiful song. i dunno i jus wanted it. i didnt get it till summer '04 tho. but i had the whole summer to play. :D
the intro was so cool. i liked roaming around traverse town.
didnt really get hooked tilll montro or atlantica maybe? been addicted to it since then.

 

It looked pretty cool to me. Controlling a clown-shewed guy with some Disney characters looked really fun to me.

 

I thought it looked like a cool game, and some of my friends really really liked it sooo. i got it and
Lo and Behold
it was great.
i initially loved how it was an RPG but a fighting game like Zelda.
And then i fell in love with the plot line and characters and became obssessed

 

I was like 11 when it came out and I liked the Disney characters in the game lol :p

 

I thought it was a cool game when I saw it on TV. But I didn't want to buy it, my sister did. She turned out to play it only for a while and then I started playing and became really addicted. I always ask her "Why did you buy that game? You didn't even beat it." And she was like: "That's because you're playing all the time."

I got my own PS2 since some time ago, so there's no more problems.
