Square-Enix First Final Fantasy game you played?

My first was Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates, then I just went with the natural flow of that series and went to Echoes of Time.

 

Final fantasy X. I never beat it. The only other FF game I owned was XII, and I didn't beat that one either.

 

Final Fantasy VII around the time it came out. Though I only played it at my cousin's house and since I was used to platforming games like Sonic, Mario, and Crash I was like "Why can't you jump?" and thought the intro was extremely long lol. Though I ended up buying it much later (around the time KH came out) because my friend was such an addict he carried a strategy guide with him all the time, talking to me about it even though I said I only played it once lol. I think KH may have influenced my decision as well but I don't really remember.

I also played a bit of X around the same time I bought VII and liked the story though I didn't go past Besaid because I was a noob at RPGs and because it was a rental I didn't have much time to learn the ropes.

A significant time later I got Crisis Core and I can say that was what really made me interested in Final Fantasy. After that I went back to Final Fantasy VII with more motivation and ended up really enjoying it. So I played a few of the other games (IV, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XII, XIII) and beaten quite a few as well (IV, VII, VIII, X, XIII).

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance was the first one I ever played. That was when I was about 8 or so, and gdi, that was a huge chunk of my childhood. The 2nd one was XII, Oct. 2011, I think?, That was also Ivalice, and that's why I so badly wanted to play that one as well. =w=

 

Um, the first FF game that I watched my friend play was FFX. But, the first game I personally played was FFXII, only because it was on sale.

 

I have to say my first game that I played of Final Fantasy was Crystal Chronicles, by myself and I really got sick of it quickly. Then I saw someone playing Final Fantasy X and I knew I had to play it and I fell in love with the series.

 

FF7 in order to find out what was all of the hype over.

 

Dirge of Cerberus, which is one of the only FF games I ever beat. I got it as soon as it came out because I really liked Vincent's character design.

 

I am currently playing my first FF lol (FF12).I'm really enjoying the combat system and starting yo get more into the story.

FF8, but the first one that I actually beat was Crisis Core.

 

Final Fantasy IX, and it remains my favorite to date.

 

Final Fantasy VIII was my first.

 

Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core was first for me.
