this is hilarious. I don't know bout you countrys, but where I live even a 3-year old could get DMC or GTA or almost every violent mature game there is. All for the money, and nobody get's fired. No need for an id or anything

I know a lot of kids my age who play M-rated games, it's actully pretty common.
Well I think it is stupid to fire someone for selling a M-rated game, selling alcohol to minors is 10x bad then that, think about it.

Perhaps slightly over exaggerated about the 3 years being able to buy GTA?

Yeah I find it odd for a 3 year old to walk into a game store and buy all those things. now if the parents got them, that's just as bad. Like I said, a sale is a sale. Parents just need to understand that letting their kid get GTa is like letting them go and see Grindhouse at a movie theatre.

Um, kinda depends on what they are selling.
I mean, like selling this bloody game that says bad words and such to a three year old? That is BAD, but they shouldn't get fired for it.
If it were like to a kid who wanted to get it for their parents/ friends/ whatever, I guess that would be okay.
    Naw, they shouldn't be fired.

ok, I slightly over exxagerated bout the 3- year old. But not mature could still get such a game in most stores. We don't have mature or everybody signs, we have 16+, 18+, 12+, 3+ etc... Oh yeah, the parents don't take violence in video games seriously, so kids can play them. It makes me sad

I think it's the parents responsibility to know what their children play. Should the employee get fired? No because if the child is exposed to certain things from the game, whos fault is it, the Employee who sold it to him or the person playing the game?

Getting fired for that is ridiculous. I'm not 17 and I own a Mature game. Sure, you might get reprimanded, but fired? No way.

This is how it worked for me and my family, if it has Sex scenes in it then we just wouldn't want to get, even though that really spoils a good game. Just one scene of sex and its like the whole game is ruined. Well anyway, if its a game like Metal Gear Solid, then I could get it, cause in my family we don't care about blood and Language. But that non caring stuff started when I turned into a teenager. Anyways, if it just shows nudity then we don't care cause i'm old enough to handle seeing it without going crazy like other kids. Like I said it just spoils a game.

But back to you selling a Mature game to a young kid, of course you would get into some trouble, you should have saw that coming. Don't take that offensive though, but you should have said," Sorry but this is Mature, check out the Teen section." Well atleast thats what I would have said.
