One of the ideas for the movie that got cut was that there was an ancient troll prophecy warning the kingdom of a ruler with a frozen heart who would one day take the throne and bring about eternal winter, so that's where that all comes from. You get a lot more of that if you listen to the deluxe edition of the soundtrack~

Nem, I would prefer a (or some) short-movie instead a extrusion or... urgh... a sequel.

Really, the story is very closed in only one movie. Disney's executive, don't be so greedy to make another Frozen movie, for God's sake.

Or have Kristof and Anna sing it at the end because then it'd be legit it'd be equivalent to their wedding vows.

I don't see how a sequel would work with a definite antagonist, Elsa basically has inexhaustible, seemingly limitless power

Wow, that would have been REALLY good... why DIDN'T they do that?

This actually would have made a better television series, in my opinion. Stretch out the course of events over a couple of seasons. Having said that, I still loved the movie in how adorable it was. The animation was splendid which is an automatic attraction for me in the first place. The songs were lovely. My favorite was "Let It Go" because I felt a connection to the lyrics. Overall I was pleased to have watched it and can't guarantee that I won't watch it a few more times. This was one of those movies where the ending was predictable by about halfway through the movie, yet it was still fun to see. I also have to say that I don't think they could have picked a better cast.

I just feel a lot of the movie's time was wasted on traveling. The initial journey to the North mountain by Anna and Kristoff was fine, but then Hans goes there and Anna and Kristoff go to the trolls and Elsa is taken back to Arendelle and Kristoff takes Anna back to Arendelle then goes back to Arendelle and then they all run around on the frozen fjord for a while... it was just a lot of movement that could have been condensed in favor of more exposition and/or scenes with Elsa.

I noticed they spend a LOT of time on how supposedly hard it will be to climb the mountain... only for it to be very easy, done in a jump cut, adn then solved by a magic staircase. Seems like a waste of time considering it doesn't build up to anything

    Hm, I don't think so.

Yeah, it's justify in the begin how hard is to climb that mountain, but after the middle of the movie everything is fast-travel mode (just remember how fast we see Hans arriving the Ice Palace and how fast Kristoff goes to the trolls and then return to Arendelle.

Aside this, I still vote for Short-movies instead a sequel or a TV series.

Although I'm almost sure they'll do a sequel (name a single Disney's Reminiscence movie that doesn't have a sequel), I'm just... unsure about this sequel's quality. Really, there's no single sequel of a Disney Animation Studios' movies that the quality matches with the original one.

Worst part of Frozen is the TeeFury mash up of Frozen and Doctor Who. The over saturation of the fandoms is getting a bit ridonculous.

There's always a mash up out there. I've seen them for just about everything and a lot of them involving ponies (i.e. Mah Avatuhr) and I do agree that it can become a bit pointlessly ridonculous but occasionally there's that one mash up that makes them all worth it.
