    Someone at Square Enix thought that making an RPG a complete straight line with the inability to go back to previous areas was a good idea for an RPG

    Actually, it really just isn't that great. Not even for a non-Final Fantasy. I've already given my points about why in the appropriate thread in the Gaming section.

    Ah yes Final Fantasy Xlll....thinking back when it was first announced, the game would look like it was going to be the best, but like the other games that looked good upon their announcement, it ends up to being ******.

    But not to me though. Final fantasy xiii was a good game and I enjoyed every minute of it. The problem with it was that you were severely limited as to you know leveling up.

    FFXIII is solid, nothing great, but it bugs me when people talk about it being terrible, because nothing about the game is THAT flawed
    And it just gets ludicrous when they start saying it has the worst voice acting ever in an RPG, or that the graphics are terrible
    IMO XIII-2 is the best FF game in over a decade though
