So like, was Xehanort trying to pull a Voldemort or...?

 

Basically. He was trying to make copies of his mind and heart and then inject them into the members of the Organization. That failed when a bunch of the members got deaded and then got hearts and then split off from the Organization, so he got some new members who apparently agreed to let him take over their bodies and Sora, on whom he tried (and failed) to perform inception (actual inception, not that dream in a dream crap).

Lol, still curious as to why he initially chose Larxene to be one of his vessels...

I mean, I feel like it's sort of in character for him to dabble into kinky stuff, but... eh...

 

Now that you mention it, she does kind of look like a blonde female Xehanort.

 

Well, technically, he tried both on Sora and succeeded when it cameto the dream in a dream

Also, time travel. Xehanort needs to stop borrowing plot lines from his voice actor's recent films...

 

Kingdom hearts: Where if the character isn't Sora, they are Xehanort.
