Shuri nodded and stood still for a moment, watching as they all disappeared into the other room. Though she was still quite young, she always wanted to make sure her brother was to be safe. She looked down at her gun, silent thought running throughout her head. She really hated being here. Having to follow order and live with all these people who meant nothing to her. But why did Syusuke want to? Was he scared? Why was he so insistent on helping others!? Grunting a bit from her inner fury, she swung her gun around her shoulder again, deciding to meet the other sniper upstairs.

Syusuke immediately got to work, getting out his antibiotics and alcohol to clean up his cuts. He noticed that in one area on his leg, he need a small stitching, deciding to move there first. He didn't bother saying anything more to them, knowing they had quite a bit to discuss without him interfering. Although he was curious on what went on while he was gone, he did what he could to keep busy on the wounds. He cleaned the area as much as her could before moving to grab his string and needle to close the gash up. He sometimes felt proud that he had decided to take a lesson in the hospital, it having come in handy a few times. "Alright, I'm just going to go ahead and stitch this up. It may hurt just a bit since I don't have anything to numb it so if you can, bear with it. It'll be done before you know it." He looked up to the leader, waiting for his sign of approval.

Shuri made i up on the roof, walking over to the edge of the building to set up her gun. She took a a minute before she crouched down, taking a deep breath as she looked into the scope of her sniper rifle. Already she was starting to lose herself in the focus of trying to find any of those creatures luring around.

"You got it." Alex replied, making his way back up to the rooftops. Once he was up there, he found himself a spot on the roof. It wasn't too far or too close to where Shuri was. Now looking into the scope of his gun, he started to scan around for any possible threat. Even if he didn't see any, there was more than on sniper up with him. In other words, he had some back up this time.

Once Shuri confirmed that no zombies were about, she pulled back from her scope for a moment to rest her eyes. Although her eyesight was top notch, she still had trouble staring into something for look long. It was one of the few things she hated about herself and caused a lot of trouble when it came to attacks. Even back when she was in the military camp. Unfortunately, there was nothing she could for to improve her situation, simply just dealing with such a matter by herself.

Taking a look around the roof top, she noticed a man not to far from her, figuring it was the man named Alex that Skye had called upon earlier to help out. She stared at him for a moment, wondering how he ended up in the group or more so, how he got assigned the job of a sniper. He had a pretty good rifle too. But rather than bothering to ask, she simply brushed it off, not caring enough to bother some one who was working. That was all that really mattered right now. Survival. Anything other than that was basically pointless in this situation.

She picked her gun up again, starting to fix what she couldn't finish when she was downstairs. She didn't like to leave anything out of place. The smallest thing could cause a big effect, after all. And she wasn't about to jeopardize things like that.

As the operation was soon to begin, Grey turned his attention to the two that addressed him and let out a sigh "Just don't waste any of our supplies Nikolai...I'll kick your ass if you do anything stupid, whether drunk or not" Grey said. Nikolai was a great asset, but the drinking side was proving to become a hazard and soon enough the leader would have to take action. "And you" Grey as he immediately sent a sharp stare at Skye. 'What you did was very reckless...though I will commend you for your actions, don't do something so stupid like that. Do something like that again I will be the one you have to fear and not the zombies" Grey said as he closed his eyes "...and besides your the person that makes this team more cheerful...without you everybody would be stuck with a stuck up leader like myself......I'm proud of you" Grey mumbled saying the last bit very quietly. "Alright Syusuke do your thing" Grey said.

Proud? Of her? No, no, he couldn't be serious. She shouldn't have been swiped by that zombie in the first place, let alone draw the other zombies on top of her. She tended to be the clumsy one of the bunch anyways in stressful situations, but that's what entertains everyone the most- even though they're all about to be eaten alive by the undead. Or worse, turn into them...

Skye smiled just a bit before looking down at her arm, recently stitched up. She fingered it lightly, and then glanced over at Grey. He was the closest thing to a dad right now in this chaos and she was eternally grateful that Fate allowed their paths to cross at this time. She didn't know what to do if she was still out on her own, scrounging around in broken homes for food and hiding from zombies wanting to eat her brains and toes..

"Thank you, sir," Skye said quietly under her breath, realizing she forgot to compliment the leader for his nice words. And to her, it seemed rare that he gave any good comments out so she took them while she could.

"Cross fixed me up right away," she said with a smile, showing Grey her battle wound. "It's gonna heal funky, but it's gonna look wicked sweet when it turns into a scar." She giggled softly, turning around to face the leader. "Should I leave you be while you get fixed up?"

Syusuke nodded to him, carefully threading the needle and placing it aside on his tray. Standing up, he walked over to the corner of the room, finding a small stepping stool and bringing it back with him. "I'm just using this to lift your leg up so I can get a better view of your wound." He gently lift hig leg up, placing the stool under and resting the leader's foot upon it. Getting back down, he gave the wound another clean, clearing off the blood that had leaked a bit in the time of his absence. He really preferred to work with as little blood in the way as possible.

Picking the needle up once more, he studied the wound once final time before he place the needle to his skin. "Alright, here it goes." Having given the okay and warning, he inserted the needle in, sewing up the gash with as much pretension as he could. He really couldn't stand his work being messy. "If you don't mind me asking, sir, what has happened in the time that me and my sister have been away? Obviously I can see there may have been an attack but how if it that things got this bad for the two of you?"

He looked up to the two for a moment before continuing on with his sewing. "Not that it's much of my business really or that I would want you to recall such a horror. I just want to know." He smiled, cleaning him off ever so often as he worked.

Cross smiled when their leader came back, but that smile quickly faded when she realized that the man was hurt. However, though she wished to help, she had been beaten to the task. Oh well, at least he would be okay. And besides this made it a perfect time to go around to everyone and see if anyone else needed help.

Maybe she would also count the supplies that had been brought back and check it for anything medical.

The operation to fixed the wounded leader began and Grey just endured whatever pain began to assail him at the moment. As he endured the pain a smirk stretched across the man's face as he listened to the girl speak. "heh, damn brats thinking scars are cool" Grey said as he opened his eyes and glanced back at Skye "this shouldn't be long, it would be best you tend to the others" Grey said as he closed his eyes and sighed "To put it simply I screwed up and with this mission. We walked straight into a damn zombie hoard and barely escaped with our skin intact" Grey began to explain to the one tending to his wounds. At the moment he was so pissed at himself for taking such a risk and wished to just endure any blame.

Mare watched Nikolai leave and rolled her eyes. She wasn't in the mood to deal with his crap. There were enough issues at hand. Nikolai would receive a thorough verbal lashing from her later. Marissa still couldn't help but feel as if this was all her fault, especially when their leader spoke. "To put it simply I screwed up and with this mission. We walked straight into a damn zombie hoard and barely escaped with our skin intact" Her head snapped up in the direction of his voice and she stared at him with wide-eyed bewilderment. Was this a joke? He couldn't seriously be blaming himself.

"The whole thing was my idea. I was certain that it was be an in and out mission. The only one that should be taking fault is myself."

Skye shook her head at her leader and her comrade. "No, this is not anyone's fault." She folded her arms over her chest, looking at the ground. "Haven't you guys noticed there's something weird going on lately? They're gathering in packs. Hoards even. There would be one, and then when we come back, they'll be several more." She looked up at Gray and Mare, her eyes serious. "This happened last week too, remember? When we went to the super food store to check things out? There was only a handful, we took them out, got what we could carry, came back to get more, and the place was swarming like the undead multiplied in minutes..."

The girl sighed out, letting her arms drop to her side. "And they're not killing each other anymore like they use to..." She suddenly reached up to rub her forehead feeling a bit dizzy. It was either from all the thinking or all the lack of blood and not rejuvenating it with carbs quickly, but she wasn't done explaining her theory yet. "Either the virus is morphing, or we're just seeing another phase of the zombies, or both... I dunno."

"That's all I have to say on the matter anyways." She looked up at the older ones, shrugging one shoulder and then looked behind her to see Terra leaving. Her job was to check on the others. And this sickening feeling she was getting was not going to slow her down. She had to keep up with everyone else. "What do you want us to do, Gray?" Skye looked back at him, ready to follow anymore orders besides see if everyone was alright.

Right idea, wrong template, Here's the correct one.

    Username:
    Name: (First and Last)
    Age: (12-26)
    Personality:
    Position on the Team (Nickname):
Skills to Offer In This Position: [Realistic ones, please]
Weapon(s) of Choice: [You may have up to three. Doesn't have to be a gun, unless you're a Sniper. If you have a gun, you must find bullets/ammunition constantly. Just a heads up.]
Appearance: [Anime pictures will be lovely, thanks]
Brief Bio: [And don't go changing stories during the RP.]
    Fears: [At least four]

And there still the rules on the OOC Thread I linked above.

Basically what MoK said, you need to complete the template he posted, as well as post it in the OOC thread, which should have a link on the front page. You'll have to wait for Maka's approval before you can post in the regular RP.

Right, as they said you little ankle biter, read the rules first. No one is allowed to post in THIS thread until they did so. Go to the OOC thread that's been linked and do what you will there. Although you gave a pretty bad impression of yourself already... :/ But I'll try to be nice to you since you're obviously new.

"I see, you've used your brain and come up with an excellent observation" Grey said with was seemed to be a smile "Skye...I want you to inform the others of a meeting. This mission cannot be called a complete waste and one I am done here there is something we need to discuss in detail to the others...things are becoming much more grim and its best we know as much as we can if we wish to come out of this alive" Grey said explained without opening his eyes. For now his wounds needed to be fixed before he charged into battle once more.

OCC: I haven't been too sure how to reply. xD

Syusuke nodded at he watched them all for a moment, feeling he missed out on some important things as he was gone. Not that it was really much of a surprise to him. He'd grown used to it by now with the amount of missions his sister had taken on since they all got together. Every time she ran off, being the protective older brother he was, naturally, he would follow after her to be sure she was safe. After all, it was the most important thing to him to keep Shuri safe, regardless if he knew her skills. They were all each other had now and there was no way he was planning on losing her no matter what mess she got herself in to.

He shook his head from the thoughts not, wanting to focus on completing his task. Finally stitching up the wound, he smiled, liking that he did it correctly again just as he was taught. He knotted the thread before taking his scissors and cutting the rest off. "There sir, good as new. Just don't try to do much for a while or you'll end up opening it up again. And you wouldn't want that, heh." He placed his tools on another tray before grabbing a bandage wrap and tightening it around his leg.

Once done, he moved along, cleaning off the other cuts that were more minor, knowing only a few would require the use of bandages. Which was good since he wanted to waste as little as possible. "Well there you go, sir. I did the best I could but I think you'll be fine for now. Just drink some water and be sure to alert me if anything is wrong."

Shuri sighed as she finished with her gun, happy to know that there was no damage done. Everything about her sniper rifle was in top shape and would surely last her a great while. She looked back to Alex then, wondering if he took as much care of his gun as she did. After all, she was militarily trained on how to use and care for a weapon such as it. She was almost tempted to ask before stopping herself instantly, wondering what in the world was going on. Why was she suddenly interested in this stranger? 'I suppose it's perhaps because he is a fellow sniper...' She told herself, pushing off her thoughts on the topic. Instead, she place her gun back near the edge, positioning herself for another search of zombies.

Alex removed the scope of his gun from his eye as he took a break. During this time he glanced over to Shuri, the other sniper up there with him. While he was glad that there was another sniper aside from Nickolai, it was clear that she wasn't planning on starting up a conversation with him. Not that it matter much to him anyway, he was used to quiet whenever he had his gun out. Alex sighed before placing his eye back on the scope and just like his dad had taught him, he kept his breathing calm and light to aid in accuracy.

Marissa leaned with her back against the wall. She still couldn't help but blame herself for what happened, even if the zombies did seem to be acting different. They were running low on supplies. Another trip would be necessary if they wanted to make it to next week. She sighed deeply before lifting her gaze off the floor and looking up at the others. "We still need to make a run, and soon. We're getting low on supplies and there's no way we'll last til next week if we don't restock. The kitchen is running low, I'm out of ammo. I'm sure some of the others are running out too. Maybe a smaller team. Just two or three people. Fill what bags we can and run for it."

Her gazed diverted to the ceiling briefly, then back down on the others. "Maybe not include Nikolai. I'm volunteering to go. Then just like two other people. Two people that aren't injured." She eyed her leaders menacingly. They would both risk their ionjured lives for the other members of the party.

Natalie climbed up the staircase to the roof. She liked being up there when it was nice out. They didn't get to play outside, so it was the closest thing she had to a yard now. She walked slowly over to the snipers, so not to scare or startle them. "Can I help watch?" Helping keep an eye on the house always brought her entertainment. The snipers were cool and fun, more relaxed then the others. When Marissa brought her back, they automatically stuck her with the medics. She liked helping them, but it was kind of boring. Sitting down beside Nikolai, she stared at the ground intently. It was fun to point of the zombies and watch the snipers take them out. No one ever let her try though. All she wanted was to shoot one zombie, but no one would ever let her touch one of the guns.

After another good while of searching, Shuri pulled from her gun once more to relax her strained eyes yet again. She was really getting annoyed with it more often than she normally did, it putting her in a bit of a mood. Placing down her gun gentle on the roof, she took another look around, noticing that more people had decided to show up. Although she was able to sense them coming, she had no idea what they would look like. Being honest with herself, she hadn't expected to see an older gentleman and a younger girl, maybe a few years away from her. Although she had been with these people countless times before, she never took the time to ever get to know any of them. Not that it really mattered either way but it got her thinking about how she was always alone during her special training back in the academy.

She reached over for her bag next to her, pulling out her water and taking a few gulp. Lately, she'd been more dehydrated than she normally was and it was something she began to worry about. Shaking the feeling off, she looked back over to those people, her curiosity striking up strangely enough. Especially the younger girl, who had seemed to just be watching her and the guy beside her. She looked to be more interested in this sort of thing than normal girls her age. Or course, she was the exact same way.

She had no idea why she felt the urge to call her over. There wasn't much she could do with her, even if they were of the youngest one in the group. But then again, it was essential for survival that she at least knew how to handle a gun. Standing up, she prepared herself before waving over to her, not sure on what she should say really. It's not like she even knew her name or anything. "Excuse me. Would you mind coming over here?" She said before sitting back down on the ground, waiting to see if the other girl would accept her invitation.

"Excuse me. Would you mind coming over here?" Natalie stood back up, leaving Nikolai's side, to move over to Shuri. It felt weird, being invited to sit by her. Even though they were fairly close in age, Shuri acted older and hardly ever talked to her. She took a seat next to the other girl and smiled. "H-hi Shuri," she said awkward. Dusting off her dress, she returned to gaze to the ground once more. "How are you?" Nat asked timidly. She was fine speaking with most of the others, but Shuri had this aura about her. She gave off an intimidating presence for being one of the youngest in the group.

Natalie fidgeted with the hem of her dress. It was dirty, like most of the others. They weren't able to wash their clothes too often, so she spent a lot of time in dirty outfits. This one, had a stain on the chest from helping with the cooking. Some spaghetti sauce spilled while carrying the pot to the long kitchen table one evening. She sighed, bored. It was always so boring around here. She wasn't allowed to go on missions, she wasn't allowed outside to play and the lack of consistent electricity meant no video games. There were a few board games, but no one ever wanted to play with her and she had played them so many times already that she had no interest in them anymore. Watching zombies walk in circles from the rooftop provided such little entertainment the way it was.
